This is very groovy - 20Gb, thinner than an iPod, plays WMA and with built-in Wi-Fi! Looks nice too. Shame the price is a bit steep at the moment though.

It says that the WiFi is 49.99 (£ or $, I can't remember) for the base station

Slimmer, but 150 quid more expensive than the 15Gb iPod. Doesn't seem like a very good deal to me. Especially when the ipod is infinitely more sexy.

Meh. Bored with my iPod now - every bugger's got one. As far as looks go, horses for courses, I prefer this, but then again I also prefer the Philips HDD as well, but it has a shit UI.

That's the thing about the ipod though. Like you say every bugger does have one now. That's mainly to do with that fact that they aren't pish anymore. In other words, although the battery isn't very good, it lasts considerably longer and doesn't cost the price of a new pod to replace.

If that thing was a bit cheaper I'd maybe think about it, but as it stands it's a complete bloody rip off.

Agree its too expensive - that's because its a Japanese import rather than an 'official' Toshiba product; I would expect it to be considerably cheaper if they started to sell it properly.

I know the iPod is good, that's why I bought one (although the fekkin thing keeps locking itself, which is really annoying), but unfortunately I'm one of those people who hates to follow the herd, and when the herd catches up, I want to move on - its ridiculous and has probably cost me a fortune over the years, but there it is ;)
