Once again...

.....My Mic is fux0r3d, ive had the Plantronics Headset HS1, for about 6 months, but i took it back in March coz the Mic didnt work, so i went to PC World, showed em my Receipt, and got a Brand Spankin new HS1.

Now, 3 months after that the Mic on my *new* Headset is dead.

They would have to replace it again wouldnt they? because i believe its a Years Warranty on all goods...

BAH!

BTW, i tried Voice Recorder in Windows, and it was just all fuzzy, tried in CS and no-one could hear me..


This maybe one of the Best Headsets around, but its not very durable :/

My mic/headphones was from Game - cost me £10 - great sound quality - no problems in the 12 months I've been using them.

...but that isn't a great help to you SG I'm sorry to say...

Personally I use my own headphones and the mic that came with my soundcard, works perfectly, get a refund spend the cash elsewhere.

I have a nicole headset/mic combi jobby which looks really lightweight and cost me a tenner, i did have to buy a new one once, but only because a dog chewed on it at a m8's house and some1 else stood on it.

Heh, reading this reminds me of that game we had on Militia Super against those three poor sods vs. us two.

Our mic conversations were freaking hilarious considering I was so stoned that night I couldn't even see because I thought the screen was too bright.

Remember that guy beneath the stairs whom i stood next to with my flashlight on? We pissed ourselves!

Ahh yes, that was probably the most hilarious Game ive ever head, i cant believe what you where up too part of that game.

And that one under the stairs has gotta go down as the best trick ever, you where staring at him for f00k knows, and he didnt fire until the last minute..

Fucksake, went to PC World today...

Set Off, go to Dole for the First time to Sign On, in there about 30mins or so, come out, then goto Spekes PC World... only about 20mins drive for me, if i go up the "Ford Road" (Where the Ford Factory is), plus its National Speed Limit so should be there in no time.

So, i get half way there, nice quiet run.. then.. The Traffic builds up, Lorries, Buses, you name it it was there, now, i dont really like going up this stretch of Road, because..

A) Traffic is always bad
B) Lots of Accidents
C) Road Markings are confusing to fuck

So, the Road Markings.. they are all over the place, like Egytptian Hyroglivics (spell), some car on the Left Side of the Road (2 lane traffic) decides to pull out infront of me, i slow down gradually, next minute, this fucker behind me is doin like 70mph (Speed Limit changed to 40mph before), anyway, he's up my arse, i know he wants to overtake me, but there is a Lorry on the side of me.. he surely wont try... i was wrong, the went right in the middle of us, and cut me up, never mind gradually slowing down, i had to fuckin Slam on..

Anyway, that was it then, it went back to nice quiet road, i turn in off the Roundabout, and enter the Retail Park of Speke, surely nothing else can go wrong, i mean this place is quiet, nobody is gonna do anythin here.... wrong again some fucking stupid cow thinks she is in America, and drives on MY side of the Road, i had to swerve into a Layby to miss the Blind idiot...


Anyway, i park up, there isnt much of a Queue at the Information Desk.. "Ah yes, i'll be in and out in a Flash", bah, i wish, there was nobody serving anyone, about 10/15mins later, someone finally turns up and serves us, he couldnt be more dopier than anyone, he also has a very bad Stutter, hard to understand..

So its my turn, after about 30/40mins of waiting more (Only 2 people in the Queue at the time) I give him my Headset, and Receipt, he goes to the otherside of the Store to get a Replacement.. right?
Wrong, none in stock, and never will be, "ahhh shit" was my Word, his words where "Well, for an Extra £30 you can have these" (So thats £60 for a Headset) like fuck, nah can i have my Refund?, oh ok..

Get refund and run.. by god what a day

So now i dont have a Headset in which to play Counterstrike... gonna have to find my Subwoofer Speakers, which are very old...

Ive got a SB Audigy soundcard/5 speaker suround sound set-up, and the mad thing is, I use a £6.99 pair of headphones that I got from Game shop. I bought them when the voice thing first came out on Half Life.
The speakers are still in the box they're not even connected ! Why ? Well tbh, the sound is so good its like fucking world war 3 going off in me house, the neighbours would think I was going mental

I mean, you come across many people in CS, who like to shout obscenities and stuff.. and obviously you dont want people who are in your house to hear this sort of thing, its like Privacy heh

Bah, couldnt be arsed to install the Subwoofer Speakers, coz there was just no room on the desk or elsewhere.

SO, i found a pair of Small Speakers.. installed em, couldnt hear fuck all when i went onto a Map, even tho the Volume was on Full Whack...

gonna have to get new headset... but from where!

Gonna have to look in Argos/Dixons/Comet etc and see
