Gives us good battles and some unity we sometimes miss alittle in Midgaard.

Much fun has been had by hibs on these raids - including the zerging around after the raid proper. Did my heart good when we stormed APK in Emain this evening and I got to wet my blades on buffbots...

You can keep that tedious 1FG stuff in my opinion, this is what REALM versus REALM should be!

Correct - I'm 80% realm defender, 19% roleplayer and 1% RP-whore (if that)... if I'm out in the frontier I want to see squashed trolls and shattered tin cans (or squashed trolls and skewered treehuggers if I'm playing my alb/excal characters), and I want to see my realmmates working together towards that noble end -
this is a realm war not a duelling society

My own, very personal view - there are a lot of games out there, playable online, that guarantee you a match against an equally-sized enemy team. DAoC isn't one of them - if people don't like that, maybe they should consider playing the sort of game they DO want to play rather than browbeating the rest of us into changing our game to suit them.

All rather off-topic anyway, congratulations again to Aran and mids, please don't waste your time and money on your relic keep doors, we'll only be round to smack them in again. Take it as a compliment though - it means we enjoy fighting you more than killing albs!

All is possible in this game despite the CoC etc etc anyway asap we passed hmg to head RK we encountered 2 fgs Mids chasing 4 albs (LOL) and surprise element went crap, imo bad luck this time that's all ^^

The last one we got spotted fair and square early by HMG, this is fine, did you have any warnings before this?

Unfortunately there isnt much you can do about spies, to get the people you have to advertise the details and plans.

Guess some people just think its funny to spoil the fun for 300 people.

Shame really as i think 99% of mids would prefer the 'OMG how many hibs, get to RK quick' to 'Hibs will be raiding in 1 hour lets get the defence ready and farm them'.

<shrug> im trying my best and so far its gone well but there are always going to be thoose that will try to ruin it for the rest of us.

Jus was damn bad luck we bumped into them mids at hmg if it wasn't for them sounding the alarm early, im more than sure we would have got the relic but anywayz..great defending mids & yet again, another good hibby effort

Had a lot of fun this weekend with the various raids that went on. Have to say that the times I was out defending, the Hib raids generally got further than the Alb raids and were, I felt, more of a threat.

Both the Hib and Alb raids, from a realm enemy's point of view, were frenzied and constant.

Last night in the raids, I was on as Jink and all I could really do was keep my head down and damage absorb buff the guards around the keep with naughty nightshades popping up here and there trying to kill me. All the time hoping the reinforcements would get there in time, which mercifully they did, just as Door 2 went down. Bit scarey being one of only three or four peeps in a relic keep with a Hib army knocking at the door.

Sunday was fun, I was there for 3 Raids and some RP farming near the Alb gate in Odins..

was fun guys... next time can you send the Savage train to alb so we can polish the magic relics up for you!
