Aldi still sell some German stuff but alot of it is from across the continent now though. As for beer, their Saint Ettiene brand is brewed by Stella in France, miles better than the pisswater they call Stella in the UK and only £2.49 for 4 cans

can also get it at asda, for a quid dearer than Aldi, but you do get that sauce and shredded leek/onions. mmmmm might go get some for breaky

Like Lidl but they have a wider range of produce and they carry more premium quality stuff as well.
