Well i play the beta right now, and i like it. Alot more fun then DAoC

1.) click the right button and enter a login name (4-16 characters), once you have succeed then name will be displayed in the field to the left.

2.) enter a password

3.) enter any name

4.) choose the second item in the pulldown menu

5.) enter 'A123456789'. That should work for the selected city.

6.) enter anything...

7.) enter any email address, dont need to be a real one (just the syntax has to be right)

8.) just fill out 4 numbers in each of the 3 fields...

9.) go here and read how to login etc: http://www.gamemyth.tk/

10.) have fun =)

done from 1 to 8, pressed the next thing to continue, i get a pop up with ???????? on, what does this mean ?

k, i got it working, once i pick the 4th server on the list and click play my screen goes black and dies, whats goin on ?!

I'm lvl 4 now! whoa!... But it's damn hard to understand anything... for example... how do I get new skills?... And where do I get a new weapon? :)

basically, once you realise what spell books you can use, you go on spell bar, and you get a limited amount of spell points you can use. it will tell you you're current amount like 5/8. once you've learnt lifedrain or whack1 or whatever match up the japanese names and buy the scroll with same name. this will upgrade it to lvl 2 and you can charge it up longer to do more damage ( i only have experience with spells really) , i'm only lvl 9 .... give lvl 10 and meaty fire/lightning spells!!

Too much chinese characters for me to understand :(

Btw one of the screenies reminded me of breifine tower for some reason ;x

I'm an uber lvl 11 warrior now. But I still have no idea how to group up with other people, I just go around slay mobs... getting quite bored of that :)

hmmmm after watching the pvp for a while i can see that this wouldnt have a great deal of longevity, for me at least, consta gank gets a little tiring. spell affects at higher lvls are reallly nice and mages are actually a viable class in this, i just wish there was a bit more to do at higher lvl. then again .. daoc has little to do at end game apart from killing and relics.. and theres no real point to having relics when they can be taken so easily and all they let you do is kill easier... ohh .. but we get df from keep s... so we can get uber itamz and money for a 99% spellcrafted set to cap all stats so you can kill easier. and eliminate 99% of pve hunting .. oh well

My mate managed to traslate something, but it seems that the pay phase starts at 11th of July (aka today) >,<

the preview videos are always awesome looking and kick ass showing nothing but the absolute best fire works and game play.

In actuality, the game chat log will probably look something like this:

Acolyte: oop
Fighter: INC!
Acolyte: OOP!!
Mage: Idiot

I get as far as entering my login details, then I get some message in Chinese and it goes no further :)

Was quite fun to play, we got a group of 4 lvl20 chars before you had to pay, quite funny we managed to get to lvl20 without understanding jack shit =)

I played it with aucard and I have to agree it was quite nice, (dont think we took any screenshots though)..

I like the "combat" system better then the one in daoc. (more like fps and the caracters are "solid"), but imo daoc is a better game atm because:

# u can (could?) only play gamemyth in 800*600
# equipment etc was somewhat bugged (not played it enough to notice other bugs though)
# The world is quite small.
