Well shaft me with a long pole, thats is just fucking wrong.
Jesus I knew Bill stooped low to eliminate competition and buy the best idea but this? Even the devil would have a hard time topping.

It depends in how they do it.....the DPA is a complicated Act.

I tend not to believe half the shit theregister posts though ;)

I suspect that any such clauses would actually be unenforceable in a court of law. For example, you are unable to contract yourself or your company out of negligence or losses that might arise from wilful default. I would imagine that this is the same, and that no matter what microsoft might say here, if tested in court it would probably fail. At least this would be the case in England & Ireland, for the states I'm not sure.
