And yes Pandemic, most of it solo but some groups dared to invite me to during last week. Had an absolute blast with the shaman Twotosix(With Tunfiskemad as company later on) in emain last night.

Died some(a few mez - bam bam - dead), killed some and had great fun. For me its been a fun week, and I hope it has been as fun for those I've met to as a change to the stemarolling. As I have stated in an earlier thread, its all about the fun.

I will try to explain this slowly for you(will type slow, ok?).

The RRX grats in this thread(and in others I guess) is, as I see it, not alot about 'omg you got x more rps - you rock'. Its more about concern.

People are friendly(on BW??) and care to congratulate others because they are ... friendly. I appreciate those who cared to reply with a grats post because I know then there's people in the game who acatually care about their 'realm mates/enemies' and I wish them as much fun as I have myself.

And as Pandemic wrote.. I play a Thane, mostly solo(with some exceptions) in Emain. A class that are looked down to by many because it doesnt 'pwn'. A solo troll, slowly thumping around in emain can't pick his fights most of the times..

Sometimes I am lucky other times Im not. No biggie. I put down time in playing and is rewarded by getting a new realm rank, no matter how small the step is, its still a step in the right direction.

And whats more important.. FUN and FRIENDS. There's my real rewards

Hehe, you're a funny instance.

Oh.. I forgot.. This was done basically in between the thing people call real life(which take much more time then daoc for me).

And anyone can solo that.. You pointed it out yourself, its time played, not a 'omg I did it because of skills'..

But I asume you run a business, raise some children, entertain the wife(and the mistress..?), making your PhD essay and activelly support and participate in the local sports clubs in the town aswell..

Basically, its not about RR3 or even RR9, its about something more important which I am afraid you apparently missed...

yeah grats and all, but tis just RR3, its not that hard to do (there are very few 50s that arent 50tbh). if everyone got a gratzthread for each RR they advanced we'd ened our own forum :|

I agree, but as I said its not about how hard things are, then we would be in another forum(blush)... Its about spreading the feeling we're a community and that there's friends in game who cares.

And why not own sub-forum? Or more grats posts? Its not like your brain tell you with a seductive voice You got to click on that grats thread, then regret you did it.. Its a choice you do. Those who say grats were interested enough so thats reason enough I think in a public forum..

Ah well.. Hope Tunfisk close thread soonish.. Think nothing new will be said ,-)
