That's totally incorrect tbh, dunno about badmington or whatever its called but last days in athletics and men team sports (as well as women beach volley and volley, go figure ) stadiums were filled. Not that i really care if they did or not, but when i went to the water polo final i am quite sure it was filled.

-Ben Ainslie coming back from a DQ in his second race to take Gold.
-The 4x100 mens relay win. admitily we wouldn't have won if the yanks hadnt fucked up, but hey! we did win!
-The coxless fours mens team taking gold AGAIN!
-Parry taking bronze when people were completely overlooking him before he won his heat, beating Phelps.
-The fat old swedish bloke doing so well in the table tennis.
-obviously kelly holmes double gold, and how happy she looked carrying the union jack in the closing ceremony.
-the 3,000 metres men, where El Garooj (SP) cam from behind to win.
-Hearing God Save The Queen 9 times

Incidentally when did being interested in sport make people physically fitter? I'm just curious how that works out because I know plenty of football fans who break a sweat just lifting their pint glass, maybe I was wrong and its actually some kind of special fluid only fit people can produce? it isnt sports, it is watching sports. I enjoy sporting, but didnt watch most of the olympics. It isnt much fun to watch someone sport for me. Its nice for the people there in the olympics and they have a right to be proud to even be there let alone win a medal.
