I'm doing my test shortly, I've had 45 odd lessons, people usually take around 30. I feel like a much safer driver than I did at 30 lessons. I really think they should set more of a minimum standard, too many idiots on the road.

I done around 50, i kept learning then giving up, learning giving up etc which imo benefited me since i've done so many lessons.

Hehe and people not indicating on roundabouts, my other pet hate.

I also hate this. Assholes, how hard is it to move your finger 2 inch

You can tell none of you lot have been on a speed awareness course.

I attended one last week for doing 57 in my work van on an NSL single-carriage road. I thought I was within the limit of 60, but it seems that a Ford Transit Connect falls into the grey area between car derived van of no more than 2 tons laden wight and a good vehicle of no more than 7.5 tons.

Speed alone isn't the problem, it's inappropriate speed.
Driving too fast for the conditions or driving too SLOWLY. Some older drivers fall into this category.
Some older drivers tootle along at bitch miles per hour because they're not confident of the car or their abilities.
Some drivers tootle along because they want to show off their shiny car.
Some drivers tootle along because they're spiteful, vindictive, nasty people who want to ruin other people's day.

Many OLD drivers fall into multiple categories. The word I'd use is curmudgeonly.

Far more idiot young drivers on the road than old codgers. The worse drivers in London are not the car load of 4 young ethnics in some suped up piece of shit blasting hip hop out the windows with their stupid wide bore exhausts and naff under-chasis lighting, its the white van drivers and builders in their flat bed trucks. 35-60 year old builders with the intelligence of a donkey's arsehole and the driving skills of a retarded chimpanzee with alzheimers. My grandad is 76, he bought a brand new Lexus soft top 6 months ago, it's done 80 miles.

This lexus is like 16 valve 2litre absolute animal. He cannot control it, he's a silly old c*nt on the road. Something needs doing about it but who do you go to, to put a request forward??

I think everyone should be forced to drive dodgem cars. Think about it. No polution, no serious accidents caused from high speed. You could drink & dodgem. Top speed: 15 mph. Average road speed in London is about 10mph anyway lol

I missed when you first posted it but I always find it funny when this happens. I don't brake hard, but I do slow down just to piss them off. Then I speed up when it looks like they're going to try overtaking. Always good for a laugh

I do the same it is amazing fun I also like going slow round roundabouts if it means i can stop a 4 by 4 or white van sneaking out

When it was snowy the second time a few months back, i was driving nice and steady not breaking to brake my motion, this asshole was stuck up my ass for like 3 miles, then he tried over taking (this is on slippy snow/ice) but couldn't and had to sit back behind me...he got laughed at
