signed up for 12mnths of server use with BW?

hummm, no not yet.
I pay money for games, usually full price on day of release. I dont want to have to pay more money to play these games online.
I understand that the costs involved in running and maintaining servers is huge, but running and maintaining my PC is huge compared to the amount of money i earn.
BW provide a good service, the servers are usually stable and i have good fun playing on them, i will also have fun playing on Blueyonder servers and Games domain servers.
Bw is screwing over the casual gamer...
It will be interesting to see how many people keep playing on their servers...
but i will probably pay in the end, wen the noobies piss me off to much...

Its not looking good!!!
Well I hope more people will be singing up or I would think its good bye Barrys World T2, I havent seen 1 person onnany of the servers yet (was looking last night)
As |Warpig| said hello Blueyonder servers (now always full) shame as mostly the BW T2 servers "were" great to play on.
It would be a shame to see this game vanish as not enough people play it in the UK as it is and of course pings to USA server even through ISDN stink.
BTW what happend to the Mega Game server, though t it was coming back on-line, this would be an incentive to join up as that was mostly great fun (though mostly disorganised)

bah, most other server use CRC checking that will not allow me use my custom skins.
If the BW mega game returns i will probably sign up.
Why didnt barrys world just make Bookable servers P2P

I signed up though I agree not many people will pay to pub play on BW. Most people have moved on to the euro servers (Zorn, FRG, BDX etc), BY or the BW servers rented by clans (like eclipse).
I was expecting BW to make a few boxed "public" like NGI did so that they still keep som presence on the server lists.
To be honest it's not been long since BW went P2P, lets give it some time. I certainly dont think this will harm T2 in europe, although it wont help the already stunted UK scene.

hmm, most people I know normally ask what they are getting before they buy it
For my £24 I'm using web hosting, bookable servers and "pub" server access (although nobody else plays there so I dont). Might be a lot but to be honest we get VERY good use out of the bookables and I did need some web space.

Ok, i have been away for a week, and i am planning on trying to find my game card tomorrow and signing up...
Its only £12 pound, so im not crying about the price any more!
wot i need to know is how many people are on the publics?
not just T2 but, H/L, Q3A, UT and all the various mods!

Ok guy's this is bloody silly ! we have all paid our money but we aint getin the fun.
I prpose that we turn up in Barrysworld 5 kata server @ 8.00 sunday and have a good game.
The problem is no one is ever there when you log on ,so lets get organised and play the best UK servers that we have all paid for
send icq N0@s or somthing to each other and get some games organised
