Ok listen up you evil elfs that have the farkin nearsite spell. We in albion have a new plan, us casters and archers are now dressing up like paladins and armsmen. SO if you wanna keep nearsiting us you must target them instead! Because they are just casters in disguise and it does no good to target people who look like casters because they really are only paladins and armsmen. Now that I have turned traitor and told you of our cunning plan, get to it! Start nearsiting those armsmen and paladins instead..... (ps yes, we also got a new RA that makes Highlanders appear to be Avalonians in your target bar as well.. we Avalonians now appear as highlanders in your target bar, so just ignore your target bar)

Funny thing is, when I go on guard duty and stick to my local mage/realm point earner - I *always* get nearsighted. Not sure why this is, maybe they're afraid of my rez (like every dead Alb)

I used to spam nearsight on everyone that came within range at standoffs, don't care what class (I mean those nasty armsmen have crossbows = range). If I remember correctly my 35% nearsight is a lvl18 spell, with a 41 Focus staff and cap INT means I can keep casting it till the cows come home. I suppose that with Serenity and stuff now that goes even more so Guess I'll find out when I come back later this week hopefully

NS cost virtually no power to use. I believe most people who go NS mode just NS everyone.

Hell yes - I can't do anything else at 2200 range EXCEPT spam Nearsight. When I think I've got you all, I'll move into bolting range and start earning RPs. If I *have* got everyone, I can bolt with impugnity. If I miss an archer or a caster, I end up face-down in the dirt screaming for a rez.

The runemaster suppression line contains *two* great spells. The PBT and NS. Bargain

Nearsight also has 2300 range to be exact.

Amnesia really doesn't do the tricks on players Sometimes I wish confusion would make them run around headlessly or even attack their realmmates though

I would love a 2300 spell that was more than of a superficial use in RvR.. heck ae-amnesia might as well be the ae-wedgie spell that just gives everyone a wedgie, doesnt hurt em, but interrupts em... at least that would have an entertaining effcts of seeing 20 people get wediges at once...

Altho it would be MORE helpful if it made people lose target.. wonder why it doesnt do that...

ANyways, usually with the length of time battles last today, i get nearsite for 2minutes and I might as well be dead.. or veryu soon are because i have to be right on top of everyone to cast anything :/ I swear to god the other day i couldnt cast at one milegate door while standing next to the other door :/

Well, ok, AE amnesia could be a little more effective........

Its often resisted and it's mana hungry, but its quick to cast and if you can get it off before you get nearsighted, you can effectively interrupt all (well,most) of the casters on the walls of the keeps, enabling your own people to get close enough to cast nukes on them.

Of course, as with most of our spells , there's no realm points for amnesia, and yes, it would be nice if it wiped the target and, unfortunately, it gives them a new target. Me.

Oh, for an AE nuke......

So, come on, all you emerging cabbies, we need your nearsights!
