These last few days the pings on some of the cs servers have been really bad. I'm talking anything from 50 - 220!

The anti cheat software tends to cause such problems, I'm not entirely sure though. Have to ask nat

the admin mod is run on jolt servers without any change to pings.however they have had flooding errors recently,so you can't win 'em all...

I could tell this guy was cheating (although he denied it-natch), because he was running like a leapord on speed, and getting every other head shot in perfectly with his USP pistol at 500 paces. Plus he seemed to enjoy looking at the walls alot.
I had a go at him, rallying all the other players behind me and then all of a sudden, the server which had been running smoothly suddenly started lagging quite badly. After this, he started playing normally, and the lagging stopped.
If you ask me.....

To any CS cheaters out there........
If you good skilled players feel the same about those dirty rotten cheaters, let us know here and now

and as for jolt running it ok, that isnt true, jolt have lag with it as well

There was a cheat on a server I was playing on but I didn't go to #bwadmins because I thought, isn't the Admin Mod supposed to stop cheats?

I think you will find now that cheaters have had there fix they will find it hard to give up there cheating ways as most of them ain't been caught yet.
Now they have become 'hardcore' in the ways of cheating, they will look for the latest cheats that beat such mods or whatever, instead of like before where any old pass by would have picked up any old cheat with a 3-4 month life span between the versions.
Lol last few days iv'e been on jolt server and iv'e seen a good few players booted by these mods. And thats just in Tfc land.

im sorry skyler but the jolt servers DO have lower pings atm.you can say what you like but thats the way it is.what i was trying to say was that its not the admin mod which is increasing pings.the pings were higher before admin was err,added

Not to sound stupid but you guys are both from different locations so while one may have better pings than the other for BW it may well be the other way round when it comes to Jolt.

Died a total of 7 times over 3 maps racking up more then 180 frags over and an hour and a half
I think i was upseting them

What class were you playing? Mide-field soldiers should be banned. Soldiers should be banned full stop, stupidly over-powered class.

Course i was playing solly, i gave up on other class's long ago.
Not because the other class's were worse than using a solly, but because i had every numb nut on the server calling me names, when i played as certain other class's
like i say, i was playing for a laugh

Uhhh.
Like i say, unless your just going there for a laugh, the 32 player servers are a joke.
Just spam city, virtualy everybody on the server just stands at the choke points throwing grenades, pipe bombs, or spamming auto cannons.
Don't even think about going spy as about 80% of the players i met on there just fire at anything that moves.

I beleave Tom is talking about CS. It makes little differance, as 32 players just doesn't work with either mod.

Jolt server SuXoR.
They are slow and kindly provide above average pings.
Barrysworld server RoXoR and I prefer to use them for both counter-strike and team fortress.
My friends have since changed from using ::shudder:: jolt server to
barrysworld servers.

Gah! Time is 22:00 Ive just quit playing on a BW CS server because the HPB's were owning me..... lag was ridiculus, anything from 100-250 for my connection which usually provides a ping of 50-60.
Its not admin mod cos BY servers run it fine with no noticeable ping difference.
Playing with my netcode tweaked config is neigh on impossible... do I need to make a BWlag.cfg or is this problem being addressed? I miss playing CS on Barrys servers but at this rate I'll just go on missing it.
