A while back someone made a thread about CS players being #pish# at other fps games and we had a long and quite serious debate on it (wow, I know!)...

Well I just thought you may like to know this one.

Fata1ity (ex Q3 world champ) recently won the CS world champ with his clan N!P.

Just another two pence piece I thought I'd throw at yer all.

CS is the games of the gods :)
Seriously though, I play CS, a lot. I've got Q3, played it (for a short while, played online, kicked ass. I think finishing in the top 3 in a BW server when you don't know the map, don't know the weapon/item placements, and have only played online for 30 minutes ain't bad.
I think if you are good at FPS games then you will be good at all FPS games. We just have different tastes in what we play. One game is not better or worse, just different.
I hate to generalise but I think younger players like the manic DM type games, whereas the more mature types prefer tactical type games.
Theres my eight farthings worth :)

(younger viewers "what the fucks a farthing? lol)

Dolly where the fuck do you get your info from?

Fatal1ty TRIED cs, and got caught cheating, then blamed it on his brother.

Fatal1ty is AMERICAN, NiP are not :)

NiP x3 etc. never recruited Fatal1ty at all.

Fatal1ty couldnt play cs very well, he cheated, therefore hes just a total fucking dick imo.

blimy theres two different sets of imformation!
i dont think cs is dominated by "older" players however i see loads of youngsters on servers.quite the reverse,i think q2 has possibly the older players,though myself i can now come out of the closet to say i think cs is the best online game by a mile.according to clq ive played 12.75 hours already this week!

I know N!P aren't American. They an uber clan from the far reaches of outer Europe... Heh.

I think that "Fata1ity CAUGHT WITH TEH CEHATS!!!1" thing was a wind up :) was ages ago and I can't really see anyone thats THAT good at Quake 3 resorting to cheats in another game. I mean basically its aiming isnt it, and the guy sure has a fine aim.

Tho maybe his brother did do it....
