Seriously, we need to kill it before those imposters over on the other side of the atlantic does it. And i really feel we have the levels for it this time.

So, ill be gathering some ppl in a chat group today or tomorrow(chat groups can hold 50 ppl, so ill prolly invite at least one from every single guild in hib ).

I wont say any date or such at this board, because then we would prolly find dagda empty the next day

Anyway, ask your local guild "officer" for info, i will most probobly try and contact one officer(or GM) from each guild in hib.

All you need is plenty of melee chars, load of healers and a pbt'er in each team. Make sure you spread yourselves out around the dragon. If anybody decides to attack it from range it will AE nuke and you will lose a large chunk of your force.

There is always someone who cant resist firing that bolt/arrow, if mages/archers want to help, go and hit it with yer stick/penknives.

That may be the best strategy for the Alb dragon but if you try that on Cuuldurach he will stomp you flat in 18 seconds, the time for 3 AOE blasts. Read the posts on the IGN boards about what does and doesn't seem to work with the big green lizard.

btw as said on ing boards they had lotsa rangers shooting him and that most 45+rangers could hit him and under that they only missed their arrows, just wanted to know if thats true.

if so then theres no need for me atleast there, since i only have proccin swords,wich release teh dragons aoe and i can't affort 2 crafted swords...

and if proc weapons release the aoe, u realy need to make sure that no one tanking the dragon uses a not crafted weapon!?

Bear in mind that the recent success vs the Hib dragon on US servers has been in ver 1.52, the patch in which they nerfed the dragon...

Ok, had a little meeting today, talked to most of the larger/high leveled guilds, not all tho.

Axiom knights, if anyone from your guild could pm me and ill post the webaddy for the log.

Ditto with tuatha de dannan and lliad ddraig.

Any other guild that didnt have anyone there can also pm me(im sure i forgot some guilds, sorry bout that ), we mostly sorted the date and loot(if any) rules, the date wont be in there and neither will i say it here, PM me for the date and time in game.

Will have a "tactics" meeting later this week when i have read every single dragon thread on the vaultboards i can find

I think the attempt on Merlin server was the most succesful up until now, so best go by their guidelines... I doubt Excalibur has enough enthousiastic people to muster 150 peeps and try 20 times like on some US servers.

Has anyone tried poison on the dragon? I was just reading the thread about being able to put poison on other people's weapons, and it works, although not as effectively as for the poisoner who has high envenom. Might be worth a try though.

Siege weapons does *not* work on the dragon

And any spell cast on the dragon will be bounced back as a 5000 damage aoe...

I read on the US boards that having few siege weapons doesn't work, but lining up a lot (like 10-12) did help... think everyone has the same opinion on the not using magic part though; magic = aoe bloodbath... but if there are only ranged attacks going on all around the dragon, the AoE surely can't get everyone... and if it's PBAOE, there must be a range to its radius, and usually pbaoe range isn't as big as a void eld's range... but I'm only speculating here.
