Rule may stick here although I "should" be up there will the cronies..*cough* mature players! As I look after our family house, am a full-time mother and hold down a 28hr a week job :)

Your theory might work better if you asked for time played too. Otherwise you wont know how long some of these old farts have been playing and going round corrupting the sample.

I just get a Womble group to level with every time I make a new character, in fact thats why I made the new character :p

the reasonable equation must be Levels/month, as we pay monthly, and the levels are supposedly influenced by our age:

so:

24 - chars 33 (deleted), 46, 9 , 11, 2

33 + 46 + 9 + 11 + 2 = 101

101
___ = 4.2

24

4.2
___ = 0.35

12

0.35 levels a month. Im interested to see if im fast or slow. keep your results comming!

So nobrot is older than me at 47. But he must be younger than 64: when one of our Hibbie guildies complained to GOA that the drop down in the registration screen didn't go back to his birth year, he was told he was their oldest player. I believe they altered the drop down to accomodate him. :)

As for me, my main is 44 on 24 days play. I'm seriously hoping that she'll make 50 before I do. :p

In any event, I know lots of doddering over 40 wrinklies on Hib and several power mad callow youths on Mid. Hardly an accurate scientific survey, but bears out Jup's theory.

i'm 24 and my main is still LVL 20 alot of ppl in game ask what my main char is when i grp! ROFL!! :)) i did stop playing for about a month tho but i cant see myself wanting to get to lvl50 in 2days to own in RvR! :)

lol me too! although, my GF tends to complain about me not paying attention to her, well someting like that i wasn't really listening as i was playing on DAoC! :rolleyes:

Well I'm 23 and my soon to be alt is 45 and my main is 1 :)

Also have lvl 11, 13, 5

Played time is about 38days for Gimly.

How wrong can you be Jupitus. Never mind, wishful thinking on your part. I was wondering recently also and I find so many people in there twenties and thirties and cant find any teenagers. Most people seem to work also. erl is bang on the spot.

I think most of the youngsters are in Albion from the reports I've had. Most of the people outside the UK in Midgard. From what I hear i'll stay in Midgard.

am 18, cher my main is 35 and was 39 in albion before i deleated her, played time is currently 7 days with my hibernia incarnation.

(sorry i get sidetracked here, just realised it as i read over it again)

don't know what this proves. I pride myself on not being able to understand most leet speach and commonly use full english. there again i like to create characters for each person,(which would explain why cher is bitter and twisted to most people while my alt cheria is a nice perky girl) and so speaking in Leet would just being annoying.

Why do people you use leet?

I think your data sample is too small to draw conclusions like that. Given about half my guild or more are from outside the UK and I see plenty of people from outside the UK on Albion saying most are in Midgard seems unlikely.
As for youngsters, kind of hard to say.
When it comes down to it I'm not sure there are such clearly defined trends in which realm people choose as you and Jup are saying. Without conducting a servey of a lot of users we're not really likely to find out either.
