I have today experienced the pleasure that is the open top MX5... yes finally my mum caved in and has let me borrow the little red sporty number er... that is her car

I am now an honourary hairdresser, well for the next 5 days anyway

Atta boy! In weather like this it is absolutey fucking brilliant. Make sure you try out night-time top-down driving. There's nothing like it.

Is it a new-style MX5 or one of the older, pop-up lights ones.

its an old style one... but never the less still nice to drive

I shall be taking it out friday night to impress a certain young lady.. so I am currently praying for fantastic weather am thinking a bit of roof down driving with some sunset watching might be in order.... mmmhmm... MX5-->:wub:<-- me

in fact I might just go out for another drive now...... ooo and a pint in the pub..... cool

Pah! Cabriolet's are completely different, TdC! Cabs are for convertible wanna-be's.

You're right, Recoil. The sun doesn't need to be out to have the top down. Just as long as it's not raining.

I even have a high-necked jumper and a cap in the boot so I can have the top down if it's a bit nippy, but tbh the heaters are great.

I got pissed off with the range rover in a thread about Mazda's, I couldn't find one with the correct orientation, so unless someone wants to send me one from the right angle, it's gonna be look a bit 'funny'
