AH, I wasn't aware that web forwarding would have that sort of impact. What exactly causes it? Would have thought that the link would just point at the forwarded URL anyway?

If you view the source for http://www.nmitconsultancy.co.uk/dtop.jpg you get:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Frameset//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/frameset.dtd">
<html lang="en">
<head><title></title>
<meta name="Keywords" content="NM IT Consultancy, Northamptonshire IT Consultant, Nick Mallard"><meta name="Author" content="Nick Mallard"></head>
<frameset rows='100%,*'>
<frame title='http://www.auwy25.dsl.pipex.com/dtop.jpg' src='http://www.auwy25.dsl.pipex.com/dtop.jpg' name='mainframe' frameborder='0' noresize='noresize' scrolling='auto'>
<frame title='empty frame' frameborder='0' scrolling='no' noresize='noresize'>
<noframes><body> Sorry, you don't appear to have frame support.
Go here instead - <a href="http://www.auwy25.dsl.pipex.com/dtop.jpg"></a> </body></noframes>
</frameset>
</html>

I.E.:basically the image is placed in a frameset, so all an IMG tag get's is a HTML page.

Aha, so if I changed the forwarding type from my domain provider, i.e. non-framed forwarding, I assume this will change?

Will have a play soon, lots to do today - father in law in hospital for a tumour removal later, goodbye lunch to the two bosses at work, mr's has a job interview and ive gotta do all the bloody housework:/

There's actually a dock at the top of the screen as well, but it won't screencap for some reason...

I installed Flyakite OSX, which basically installs a couple of docks (I'm using RK Launcher) themes and icons and cursors to give the desktop an OSX-ish look.

Actually, I do that too - it's useful for figuring out quite how broken the network is.

Yep, I do this too. Confirms that status messages haven't got 'stuck'.

Hmm, tried installing it and really liked it but for some reason with it all installed DivX's play really choppy in windowed mode. Did you get that?

Didn't try that, I just assumed my graphics card couldn't keep up with all the new stuff. I've uninstalled it now anyway, might try again another time.

I've been playing with some of my work images, and Photoshop.

What do you think, cheesy or OK?
