guys cheating is getting a bit blatant at the moment, i mean people turning in to hellicopters and bloody apcs now for gods sake. cheaters suck, and there is a patch being worked on right now to fix all known cheats that ReBeL99 can find. He is nearly finished, and soon, cheaters will be eradicated hahahahaha. however there is a slight glitch, and people not wanting to be mean shall not, i say not, use this. it works by autodetecting cheaters and crashing their omputer using a small glitch in counterstrikes design. dont ask me about this cos i have no idea, but it kickes the cheater off, so people cannot just boot off people they do not like. cool huh?

No way, turning into hellicopters sounds fun, there are cheats out there that are far worse than that. To me the biggest cheating sod is the netcode.

Rofl, someone turning into a heli, i sure would love to see that. Well i wouldn't since i don't like cheats but that sounds pretty damn funny, maybe it was the way you wrote it :)

No there is a proggy that someone has written, the server and all the players have it running in the background and it kicks them if the program detects any suspected cheats. The only falback of this is that everyone has to have the proggy to use the server but i think BW should do it. It would deter cheats away from BW because any Cheat that downloads the proggy so he can use BW servers is a bit dum because he will get kicked.

I too have seen this cheat done with chickens, Hostages and other various items from the game. From what i seen, and have been told it only lasts for a few seconds.
But this ANTI-CHEAT/Punkbuster thing sounds interesting, but you have to remember there will always be hackers out there making new cheats to bypass this, This program will simply stop the cheaters for while but not forever :(

punkbuster is constantly updated, so as soon as a new cheat comes out, they patch server side.

thing is, BW have already said they won't use it, because it's relatively relatively "unknown" beta code or something

punkbuster rulez? most cheaters are silly people who just dl them and use em cos they are crap, not serious superhackerz, they have better things to do, if u dont want the new punkbuster then you walk around shooting at hellicopters, dont bother me

I've yet to see this so called cheat on a BW server, I don't like cheats but adding an extra layer to the game is unlikely to cure it.....no matter what the makers claim.

Well i have the Punkbuster now, i got it off the uktfcl site, apparently its gonna stop you using custom Pak files and stop you using the FOV command.
And you have to constantly have to fiddle with the program, Also if PB is constantly updated....does this mean we need a new patch everytime a new cheat comes out?

And jimmy you seem to get very over-exited by Anti-cheat programs, Does it bother you that much? I mean after all their only cheating themselfs!!

Has any one tried punkbuster client yet and actually joined a punkbuster server (wireplay). THe amount of lag is unbelievable, when a new mao loads for instance it takes 5 minutes before you can buy, the msgs arrive 10 minutes later, and no one has any idea when the start of the round is. Punkbuster great idead :) Shit implimentation :(

and hear we find a regular cs player,that blames his lack of skill on others,the usual "your a cheater" phrase is a common mating call.they will figure out later on that if you type "say you suck" in the console that they can spam.most commonly found using an awp,or moaning about lag.
lets all be glad that there are private servers around.

I was talking to a m8 who used the WP servers and said it took ages for each map to load and also he couldn't buy any thing at first.....I said it was most probably a program they're running called Punkbuster.

I wish ppl would turn into helicopter in front of me I might be able to hit em then. :)

Only joking skin changing in the game can be funny but its still cheating so it sucks. The one cheat I have seen a lot of lately (or not seen :) is the invisibility cheat.

I think the worse thing about CS at the moment is the amount of ppl accusing players of cheating, this really ferks the game. Before you accuse someone of cheating make sure you got evidence (screen shots, won numbers and condumps) and then get an admin into the server.

All cheaters to be fed to the Queens Corgis.

Well I dont see that there is that much cheating going on I have been playing for a good while now and was allways moaning to myself and friends oh that gits cheating !!!

but to be honest 95% of the times it was purely the netcode playing optical illussion e.g

That dude shot me through the wall well atleast he went behind the wall on my pc but on his he fired just before he went in ????

I have often been called a cheat and i was 56k normal joe
now im a splb and get called a cheat a lot less as they presume it caus of my sub 30 ping.........

I have realised that there is a small problem with cheats but its not as big as you thing !!!!

If punks wanna cheat then thats sad but you can still beat a lot of em even when they are flying as a lot of cheaters are really shitty.. players and cant shoot a planet with a nuclear missile :)

Look dont worry about the cheats ignore them and you have spoilt most of there fun........

ffs and next time I get called a cheat I will laugh as I got a server rapping by a 170 ping last nite but i seem to have forgot his name as it happens I wish :)

personally...

I give punkbuster the thumbs down as it completely f**ks loading time. I cant imagine what it is like with 56K. And just in case NO I dont cheat. Plus I have only run into cheaters once on a BW server.
