Look like honeybees to me, not that I'm an expert.

Honeybees look like wasps but dont have the funny pattern on the abdomen

besides that theres the fact that wasps are far more aggresive, if you threw something like that guy did at that many wasps I reckon you'd be lucky to get away without serious injuries
