Have to say I'm very disappointed. This post has been up for a week, so everyone has had plenty of notice. Yet there were still almost 20 people who just couldn't be bothered to do the first few stages and kill Malefact at any time in that week.
No, they'd rather keep the entire raid waiting forever.
Frankly this is just plan rude.
If the post says be at Step 5, then BE AT STEP 5 BEFORE THE EVENT!

I was one of those who turned up only 30 minutes or so to kill Malefact. There was one group ahead of the one I joined, which had been waiting 45 minutes by the time I arrived.
45 minutes later (so that's 1.5 hours after they started waiting) he popped, then popped about 4-5 times in about 2 minutes.
Had he popped at that more usual rate, everyone would have been through before the raid started.
I didn't expect the raid would wait, but can't complain that it did. I only decided to join it at 6:30, so I did it as quickly as I could.
