Levin and Toht seem a bit eager to get a nice rivalry going from the get go with no real basis.

I've got my eye on you 2!

ECA is there a reason for your change of vote to Rubric? or you just going with the majority?

Yes I have a few reasons, but I'm sure trollbags would jump on me if I mentioned what they were.

I am not jumping on a majority either, given that there were two people with two votes each.

I would be interested to know what they were.

I'm feeling a little bit band wagoned now.

I agree with Gol, Levin and Toht seem eager to set up a rivalry to detract attention from their possible partnership of mafiadom.

Ch3tan that's a devil's trap you're setting up.

No matter what I or Tohtori say you will be able to make it into that we are cooperating. If i take my vote off him and put it on you because i think you're fishy, you'll be able to just say "hah see, now they're removing the votes for eachother". If i keep it on him and he turns out guilty, you'll be able to say "hah look, we were right now Levin is next". If you have your way, the only way for us to clear our names would be if one of us hangs and turns out innocent. And then you will look like the big bad wolf which might be good, but we've lost a day and an innocent man has been hung.

You've put me in a situation where if Tohtori hangs and is guilty, you'll come for me next! And he's in the same situation. Very aggressive Ch3tan, while yet with a brilliant defense that would only strengthen your offense if tested! Bravo!

Like i said, it's a perfect way to out the unwanted elements.

Those who strive of confusion, of blame and of possibilities to get someone hung but themselves.

Golena did this first, very quick without questioning, ch3tan, while in the similar fashion, dared vote which speaks for innocence instead of guilt.

So, Golena it is for now.

Though Levin could be setting a nice lil trap of his own "I'll just keep my vote on tohtori, then when we see he's innocent, i'll sat ch3tan forced me to do so".

With those talents of spin have you ever considered a career in politics?

You praise me with more foresight than was in my post, there is no trap, it is simple. I do not like the way you and toht have acted so far. I agree with toht about Gol too, but out of the three of you toht looks the more likely.

lol its one of these situations where people delve far more deeply into a simple statement than what the original person meant :p But I can definitely see where Ch3t is coming from, however I think Lev looks the more suspicious one, I can't put my finger on it precisely but my spidey-sense is defintely tingling!

Lots of finger pointing going on here. Golena started it which in itself doesn't seem to suspicious to me since i've tried to do the same. Uara is happily riding the wave though avoiding any suspicion and not giving much info on himself.

Well someone has to start the finger pointing, otherwise we'd sit around all day, commenting on the weather and making idle small-talk. What sort of info would you like? why I voted for you? well my thinkin is that guilty people always protest too much or talk (/attempt to) themselves out of danger and in this case ur response to Ch3t ur trying to make excuses for ur action so in an attempt to sidle past without being hunted down. If that makes any sense!

I actually agree with Levin.

Uara questioned why I was voting for Rubric, because I didnt type in some cheeseburgerday1reason like yarrr his relative shoved a horseshoe up my grandfathers scrotum, and then jumps on the Levin bandwagon.

actually it wasn't really a Levin bandwagon. People seemed to be more interested in targetting Tohtori than levin. My instincts for some reason think Toht's innocent and if he's not innocent i'll apologise if im not dead. Only time will tell.

You may have noted too that I didn't vote on Golena who started the finger pointing, but on you who seemed so eager to jump on it without giving a lot of reason other than the "feeling". At least now you've given your reason more clearly so i'll not argue about it any more. :)

Greetings,

I apologise for my quiet manner over the course of today, I have been quite unwell and in need of rest. I assure you I am much better now and shall continue to contribute fairly!

I look around and cannot help but feel sad that two of you have betrayed our wonderous village, albeit small but no less important in the world! While our village has already proven to allow smaller misdemeanors to merely pass allowing a second chance to those who deserve it, this kind of a crime, this menacing, evil act towards one of our own cannot go unpunished. The damage has already been done with the untimely death of our friend iceforge...

While absent in speech, my ears have been working perfectly and my first deduction is that we should look first to Olgaline for answers as to what he was doing at the time the crime was commited. While I realise this could be construed as speaking out specifically against the one who has acted against myself, I assure you this isn't the reason behind my thoughts.

A string of early short speeches followed swiftly by judgement on an early bandwagon, then following up with silence is the reason I suspect you further. I question your motives for this act, unsure as to why a person would ever act in this way in the event of a murder investigation.

vote : Olgaline

I didn't really start finger pointing now did I. I didn't even vote on one of you..

I simply inquired why there was a rivalry developing which seemed to come from nothing that I could see. I notice that in all the pointing at me being guilty for pointing this out that you still haven't addressed the reason for the initial dispute.

Now Toht has continued in his random mud slinging with no real reasons. Fair enough at least he's consistant. Levin however has completely changed his approach since I cast the question. That's suspicious in itself.

I'm going to leave my vote on Rubric for now tho for one simple reason. I've got more info on both Levin and Toht that I can use tomorow with more information present. Rubric i've got nothing on, so judging his guilt tommorow is going to be much harder. The ones not risking the sword today are the mafia in the strongest position tommorow.

I did, you just ignored it, like many others seem to ignore all the points i make and just go "tohtori is tohtori again! wah!".

So, i'm gonna act different this time.

You sure did start it, and by not following it through with a vote but letting others do the dirty work can traditionally been seen as mafia behaviour. I don't necessarily always agree with that sentiment but I just want to point that out. Personally I don't see anything wrong with starting things so no need to get defensive about it!

I simply inquired why there was a rivalry developing which seemed to come from nothing that I could see. I notice that in all the pointing at me being guilty for pointing this out that you still haven't addressed the reason for the initial dispute.

Tohtori and myself have always been suspicious of eachother. Hence my ironic comment about his quick vote on me. Are you going to say that we can't ever suspect each other or we will be seen as mafia? He gunned for me for whatever reason, and I gunned back because he gunned for me.

And people think I read way too much information in things..

Where did I say you were mafia? I said you were trying to get a rivalry going. There's many possile reasons for that, most of them being reasons for a townie.

Old.Tohtori said:

Actually I didn't ignore it at all. You'll notice (if you look carefully) that I stopped really suspecting you in my last post, mainly because you did explain it. I wanted to see if Levin was going to come up with an explanation for his behaviour, and one that didn't just say (I was doing what Toht was doing!). Instead he's gone ultra defensive which worries me since it appears that unlike you he's far more interested in looking innocent than actually digging up more information.

I still want to hang someone that we haven't got any info about however. It's been pointed out lots of times that the random accusations on day 1 very rarely lead to a successful hit, so having the most information tommorow means we need to hang someone who hasn't provided much information today.. Neither Toht or Levin fall into that category.

You guys really don't know how to play this game to a high standard, do you? =)

I would just love to play with you guys, as it would be so damn easy. Other forums have much higher intellectual and tactical Mafia competitions.

Wow, an ex-forum member trying to insult current forum members. I'm sure everyone here is going to take that to heart...no no, really!
