What people miss about OF is emain if i got it right? The ability to port to emain and just roam around?

What do people say to the idea to letting mids take 1 keep and all towers in Emain and albs the same. That way we can recreate the old emain with a lot of rvr action FG fights etc?

Everyone has to be ok with it so that some hib guild dont end up taking back the keep.

would be nice for sure, though alb frontiers are slightly better than hib now..
That being said I have my doubts it would be possible to make casual albs not retake towers at times so hib might be the best choice afterall

The best time in rvr imo with NF was when hibs had Beno and Mids had berk and all the twrs.

All kinds of rvr was going on, solo, fg action and mindless zerging.

I think most would agree that was the best, something for everyone, huge amounts of RP's were made over that week and not one person from what I remember came on here and complained about it.

Good idea.. but please not again in albion. Starting to get plain silly now to see the alb farming at oriens bridge .

If you could only stop the RP hornies from zerging the keep takers they would get 10x the rp from the two realms having tho keeps over time.

It always surprises me that when a realm takes a twr, the defending realm go all out to get rid of them, surely many more rp's can be made by attacking killin the players but by leaving the structures.

Just my 2 cents as i'm a twr hugger anyway.

not sure how close that would be to crossrealming thinking about it, I thought I read something recently that Mythic/Goa expected you to attack kill all nme's you come across.

Blame the mids... This could have been the case allraedy.. But no no.. The mids had to take bouth hib keeps in alb, in the middle of the night..

Eh, yes, it worked well on Prydwen for a week or so until roleplaying Hibs decided to take advantage of the situation and scored a walkover relic raid on Albion (not hard when two keeps are in enemy hands).

RvR is one big King of the Hill battle, with Oriens Bridge being the hill. It sucks.

If we had assurances that this wouldn't happen, id be fine with it, however I think it would only be a matter of time until the l33t hib 2fg animists + bb's go around taking keeps and relics in the daytime.

When all 3 realms could insta port to HW on pryd rvr was better than it ever has been in NF, constant action, very nice fg vs fg fights etc etc.

Then we hibs and them mids just gotta take it seriously, if we take to hard avantage of the situation then you just take back the keeps, ofc doing this doesnt mean that alb relics cannot be taken.

Cant some DAoC moderator make a poll about it on the rvr forum so that ppl can vote about it, then we can see what ppl think about it?

I loved old Odins for soloing, if you could just make it past AMG alive then you were home free for good RvR, and that wasn't to difficult if you ask a stealther to check it out first or keep an eye on some unaware bait

Several directions to take, plenty of places to hide in, including the glacier giants foot, there was only a few ways the enemy would enter from but enough choices to avoid bottle necks.

If OF did not have the gates then it would of be perfect RvR.

I still have several hib and mid medallions of passage for sentimental reasons in my vault

As for mids and hibs have beno and berks, no thankyou it was beyond a doubt the most shit times of RvR with nothing but crossrealming zergs. And if im on i'll defend the keeps to the last.
