Odin's Gate tonight

What can I say. Great RvR there tonight. Small groups from all 3 realms skirmishing for hours, lots of rps, lots of deaths, but most importantly lots of fun.
For me it culminated in a huge battle at hmg of about 3fg hibs bs 3 fgs mids vs 2 fgs albs. Ok we lost, but was a damned good fight. Hope it's this good tomorrow, keep it up on all sides, this is what RvR should be.

Best moments: Wels, Wicoa and I killing a group of 6 hibs. Either that or dancing with the grey con norsemen at the border keep. Spared the exping grey cons.....their lvl 50 buffbots were another matter.

Was a great night's RvR!! We had about 12 peeps spread over 2 groups from the Valour guild, and I think Bad Omen guys were there... a great 3 way fight!... and not a zerg in sight... I stayed dead for a good few minutes just to try to see who was the last man standing... btw, I hate nukes!

I think the mids were the last ones standing in the end. I took out about 3 hibs before I got noticed and was chain-stun / pbaed (yawn). Pbuck's group was making very good inroads into the hib ranks, until the mid hit them from behind. Overall, very enjoyable.

Yes was the funniest RvR in odins i ever seen.

Lets hope it happends more often.

There were between 4 and 6 full groups of Hibs dashing madly from amg to hmg and back. Together, not separately.

The poor albs who showed up never stood a chance, one would almost (but not quite) pity them.

If Hibs have taken to zerging Odin's, does that mean that Emain becomes a pleasant place ?

Hibs are welcome to come out to play. And they werent that many as you say. We killed loads of hibs this evening and died a few times as well of course. As long as hibs dont use baod they are kinda fun to meet.

Certainly around the 9pm - 10pm GMT time it was Zerg less... we got reports of a hib force (about 4 full groups) massing at their PK... but the fights were still fun... both the Alb and Mid forces ate into their numbers... so it ended up quite balanced... obviously there were more experienced/higher skilled groups out there that night, but it wasn't a zerg when I was there... Anyway, when the forces balance out I don't think of it as a zerg... it was skill (& experience) and team work that won those fights... not power of numbers...

I disagree...skill, numbers and timing all made their impact. But hey, let's stop arguing and just agree it was a damned good fight. May there be more in the future.

I didnt like the fact there were SOOOOO many hibs.. but as they rarely rvr at all I guess I'm happy for them . Goodnight in all .

that last fight at hmg with the zerg of hibs and pbuck and co with our lil stealther grp was great
we killed over half of those hibs before mids came from behind
