Orange cancelled my free texts after 18 months. £30 a month I was paying for 200 xnet minutes and 500 texts, it was sweet.

Anyway, they dont look like they are budging (although I'll see what happens when I ask for my PAC). o2 online are the only provider to offer the same package or anything near as good.

Any issues I should know about before going with them?

Well dispite the overwhelming responses I received, I have decided to go with o2 after all. Sim only monthly online contract, 30 day rolling contract, no 12 month commitment. 400 xnet minutes and 1000 texts free a month!

When o2 get the 8880 and 6680 in stock in a few weeks, they said i can change over to the sim+ phone 12 month contract, and get 200 minutes and 500 texts instead, but with a phone I actually want.

As for Orange, the retards, despite advertising that they give existing customers the same offers as new ones, do not. As a new customer I can sign up to an 18 month contract, with 500 texts and 200 minutes for £30 a month. As an existing customer I am not allowed. The Orange phone sales staff give no room to move, they can't compromise even a little. Their offers are shite. The only reason I had stayed with Orange was an ok choice of phones and good customer service. Well the service has now dissapeared, and they are more intrested in selling phones to new customers than offerng them to existing ones.

My tip is to give Orange a miss.

Yes I will be writing a letter to Orange stating my dissatisfaction and why I am cancelling my contract. Wise man says, don't piss off your existing cutomers by lying to them.

Bit of a delayed response here but reviews I've seen for the 8880 say it's crap. Looks nice and if that's all you want then grand but it's basically a toned DOWN 6230. All that cash for a steel sliding body? hmm
