All,

I have an online, pay monthly tariff and I'm going to the USA on Sunday and i'm taking my mobile with me. The O2 website is shite and packed with conflicting information. It says in their "international" section on the website:

Check that your Service Provider has lifted any roaming service bars. Their number will be on your bill.

But, er.., O2 are my service provider, so who do I call to lift the international bar on my phone?

Does anyone with an O2 online tariff know who to phone, or how to lift the international calling bar?

Their website is correct, as being on the O2 network doesn't always mean that O2 are your direct service provider and are able to lift the international and roaming bars.

For you though, as you're on O2 online, it is O2 that you need to call to get them lifted.
