Unfortunately this isn't going to change anything and eventually frame generation will have to be measured as they're not going to stop putting it in products
The only good thing NVIDIA has done in recent memory is partially open source PhysX. Usually when companies remove features that are very usefull they just become neglected. Unfortunatly, gamers aren't the main focus and haven't been for the past couple years.
