any one know away round this bug?
I use the numpad to move and select weapons, but it appears that pressing the numlock key changes what the key press is
np I hear you all cry, just bind the keys without numlock pressed, and then bind them again with it pressed, and that is indeed what I do, but I also use numlock as a weapon key (shock rifle if you must know)
now if I happen to be pressing a key that numlock affects (ie my movement keys) when I press numlock (and lets face it who stands still to swap weapons?) it actually gets "stuck down" so if I was pressing forwards, when I select the shock rifle, then I will continue to move forwards when I let go of the key, and if I press backwards then I will just stand still.
This holds true for sidestrafe in both directions and indeed backwards.
I have found 3 ways to get out of this situation:
1) wait for the map to change (or rejoin the server)
2) rebind the key (both with numlock down and up)
3) press and hold the "stuck key" whilst pressing numlock again
None of these are really practical, so I wondered if any one knows of a solution to this, if it helps this also happened in UT (tho I didn't work out why it did it in UT (as I didnt have numlock bound to anything but sometimes I would press it by mistake when I was going to press the "home" key))
