anyone with ntl have any probs of late? 2 weeks ago my conne dropped ever 40 mins with me not being abel to browse or any thing, past 7 days ive had no connections what so ever even the phone line was dead but tv box was fine

maybe its time to switch isps

Ive been with NTL for years and dispite the odd issue its been fine

Sometimes there is a problem but i just call up and ask if its in my area and after a verbal battle with a crazy indian chap I find out.

As Panda says, i've had a couple of problems with them over the years, usually fixed fairly quickly (been with them 5 or 6 six years), have no problems at the moment... although that's probably given it the kiss of death.

If your phone and broadband are off, you'll need to phone. Its probably a damaged cable or something.

I'm in denial that I temporarily seem to work for ntl/virgin media. Not that its going to last long, since I'm getting laid off.

bullit, seen as no one answerd my previous thread, do you know speciffically why im getting slow speed off all american porn sites. it only started in the last 2 weeks. any other american site and its fine :\

i am on ntl 10mb ofc.

I really dislike NTL at the moment, at least once/twice a month i'll find myself having downtime the whole of the day, sometimes rolling onto 2 days.

The TV and internet goes off, but the phoneline stays active [Thankfully] but thats 2 important services in the household going down together, it gets sucky.

Ive even gone as far as adding the NTL Service Status page to my mobile phone - Not that its any use, they still dont report any outages when i check or call through to the automated service line...

im in dewsbury, and i had been haggleing ntl customer support about the hd box set due. and this morning one was delivered to my door in fact left on the door step when i accidentally stood on it.

it has my adress. house number, post code etc are all same as mine but the name at the top is diff. i opened it as i had no idea wtf it was at first to find a pvr box manual and remote inside. now ntl tell my my area is not ready and i should be ok keeping hold of the box till the service goes live in my aerea.

typical theres prolly some bloke going nuts down the phone to the ntl call center while im sat at home wondering if should plug his box in to see if it works
