Not a tech question but just a discussion.
I'm currently connected via a dial-up modem (How quaint! I've not heard a dial-up connecting for ages, it brings back memories ).
This is because my broadband doesn't work. Lots of possible reasons for this but after a dozen attemps to speak to NTL, whose telphone hotlines are getting cut off or engaged and checking there website now they're saying ALL of their users on ALL packages will ot be able to use the internet/email etc due a DNS.
Well bugger me! They're a bit of a large service provider to have that kind of problem, Surely?
And are any other ISP's being hit?
How about Telewest for instance or BT?
