Anyone used them and did you get a red rash when you first started using them on the location that you stuck it on?

Tried it on my arm first, that started to itch like hell so took it off and stuck it on the side of my belly that didn't really itch but then went really red..

Am i doomed to just go cold turkey?

If i remember correctly, you shouldn't even try them before you've tried atleast a week without ciggies(we're talking about nicotine patches right?).

Because, you might be a habbit smoker instead of an addict. If you're not an addict, these patches will make you one. So it's always safer to go cold turkey, as you'll still have to go cold turkey from the nicotine.

Ah yeah, if you've established you're a niccy addict, then just try the patches. If they help, do 'em, if not, ditch 'em. No harm except the price of two packs of ciggies one costs.

Aye not to arsed about the price, it's money i would of spent on fags today anyway. But was more worried about the rash. Might go and get one of those inhaler thingies.
