Thats really good Trem. I have just started training for the London Moonwalk and walking at a good pace I can do 5 miles in just over an hour. And I thought that was good:eek:

Pills dont sort the problem out -they just 'assist' you, if you are lucky.

I got down about my weight after the twins. I had been to the gym and tried slimming world and WW etc.

Don't forget I'm quite tall, my inside leg is 35 inches so I do quite big, fast strides.

Samm lost about 2 stone after having our baby, Slimming World worked really well for her but it takes an awful lot of commitment, weighing food etc, I imagine if we had more than 1 kid she would never of stuck to it due to time and all that stuff.

You go girl!!

I took Orlistat about 4 years ago for a couple of months, mainly because my weight was getting out of hand due to my other health problems. I did lose a quite a bit of weight (about 3/4 of a stone) but christ it punishes you if you do not stick to a low fat diet. I went out for dinner one night and before I had even got half way through the desert I could feel the onion bahji starter being ready to ready to explode out of my arsehole in a fountain of orange fat. They really are that good. :D

Suffice to say they can be difficult to live with if you don't religously stick to a low fat diet. For that reason I had to bin them, I just couldn't cope with eating a couple of biscuits and having the runs all day.

Trem, I advise you give up the walking and refer to this table on how to burn calories in the most effective ways:

Calories Burned During Sex

Made me laugh lots that :D

Some simple maths for you. 1lb of fat = 3500 calories. What that equates to is you have to have a calorie deficit of 500/day to lose 1lb/week. Which is a sensible weightloss level for most people.

Give up alcohol for a while. Beer is only marginally less calorific than fat. 7 calories per gram compared to 9. 5 pints of guinness 3x per week is instantly 1 lbs a week.

that doesn't solve anything though mate. get back on the booze or eats and it will come back again. you'll need a lifestyle change for anything to happen and remain happened...

That is way easier to deal with when its put like that. I am having around 1000 calories a day for 5 days then BEER!!112! on 2 days, only a maximum of 8 cans of weak beer mind.

I guess I was having the average 2300 calories a day before. I have lost half a stone in 2 weeks and it has been pleasant, not missed anything really.

Interesting.

I fall into the 'permanently hungry' category, if I eat what I like then I will quickly go over the 14st mark.
