Nothing, but at the same time - the outcome is NEVER pre-determined.

Remember the enemy is not a robotic entity, remember you can use the field to manouver in and out-manouver him, remember the people you stand with are realm mates and can you form CG's wityh them, remember to win YOU must co-operate.

The problem is that albs run when *they* outnumber the enemy 3 : 1.....

It is true we dont always run, but i believe its a ratio of numbers problem.

If the numbers are even, 16 hibs, 16 albs, then it takes a mo for the groups to discuss tactics (run, split and flank, charge straight in) now the usual response here would be to charge and everybody whack until everyone of one realm is dead.

Then 3 people wander thru the gate, and see the mids. At this point, if the mids make the first move, its often over for Albion. Not even knowing the numbers, and having spoken to no one there, one of the newly arrived, or 'less-informed' if you like, sees 16 mids (and lets face it, 16 looks like a lot more, when we get reports of 150 mids in Pennines, its often only about 40) and /y FALL BACK ON THE MG! and for some reason, more than just his little band follow, some charge, and some just stand there.

1 - chargers mezzed/rooted/stunnethed.
2 - Mids come thru the mezzed, and wholly outnumber the 5 or so still stood dithering and wondering where everyone went
3 - they then waste the first lot, and camp. thats it.

3a - they hang around until someones silly enough to open the door, then the AoE the doors to bits, usually catching a few in between gates...

sorry, but its happened often. When it gets to this point, you might as well all back off, and go to Odins, as at least your guarunteed 16 of them are in emain, and cant be looking after their baby troll friends in Yggdra...

At the end of the day CHARGE,you gain rps and die in a respectable way sometimes.Stand there and you may aswell consider lving your char to 50 a waste of time.

You guys came up with a novel new tactic to get through the MG.

I personally think Mattshanes was giving it his best oratory skills to get everyone to get stuck in.

One day us Albs will be standing there looking down on the enemys dead bodies (hopefully one of em will be Nicodemus, make up for the few hundred times hes passed me dead
