Now or after exp. pack?

As ive recently have started to play daoc again after a 10-12month break i have gotten fully toaed and ready to get my SCing done but then i saw the news about the exp pack and heard that it was going to come new weaps and armor and stuff.
Any1 know if the new epic armor\weaps are going to be better than the artifacts? Anyone heard anything about it? And since sub-classing is comming then i should probably wait anyway since if i have mage as a subclass then it would be good to have that sorted out in the template too or...?

It's unlikely that the champion weapons will match up to the likes of Malice etc. the 25% debuff to all stats would be hard to match. I believe the champion weapons will merely look pretty, and give high utility.

But, nobody knows yet.

Epic armour stats are infereior to a good sc'd/toa'd char whats good about them is they have unlimited charges on them, they are mainly intended for people that dont have the time for ToA to be able to compete slightly better than previously.

saw some stats floating around on VN boards but they are not final as of yet.

Ok good to know =) Thought the time i used now to catch up getting 6 Artis and omw to ML5 was a waste Now i can sleep good atnight (but still Behindyou )
