Last night we said a fond farewell to Twiz, my lifelong partner in DAoC, who is taking a 1 month break from the game. Our DF hunt was screwed up by the Albs and Hibs taking our keeps again, which meant that we went keep raiding... my "favourite" pasttime.

Now, Hibs are annoying in that they have a lot of PBAoE'rs hanging around at keeps. But at worst, they do 350 or so damage. But OMF! when Meepthor can do 650 damage with his, is when I start to draw the line. I now, point blankly refuse to attack ANY keep. When a caster can cast a spell in 2 seconds that does 650 damage to me, screw that. I'll go skirmish in Emain. I'll draw the line at bashing the door down. After that, I'll head off somewhere else.

Sorry, but keep taking is not fun for me. Hardly ever was, and most definately is now a waste of my time.

May I refer you honourable gentlemen to the fact that this game is called Dark Age of CAMELOT.

Biased by name
Biased by nature

Sorry Krolllka, as much as I miss some people in Albion. I despise the mentality there. The fact that 95% of Albion spends Level 30-50 in Lyonesse annoyed the hell out of me. The fact that I begged, and begged for people to XP outside of there fell on deaf ears just drove me insane. So I initially left my guild, and resorted to soloing in the Barrows or in DF. Albion has some beautiful scenery and areas to XP in. But saying that "I must get to 50 ASAP and THEN I'll go exploring", is a load of bollocks. What's the fecking point of exploring at L50 if there's no risk and enjoyment from killing things?

Bah! Albions in PvE drove me from Albion. I hate Lyonesse, and since hardly anyone I had got to know XP'd outside of Lyonesse, I got lonely, plain and simple. And when Twiz (Twis) asked if I might come back to Midgard, I approached my old guild and returned.

I went from 46.5 to 50 with my warrior faster than I went from 40 to 43 with my infil. Not only that, but I actually XP'd in 4/5 different zones.

Sorry, but maybe oneday, when Albion learns to follow the road away from Lyonesse and go elsewhere, then maybe, then I MIGHT return.

Only reason we stay in that god forsaken place called Lyonesse for 20 lvl's is that its best place we got for xping, plus alot of us hate fucking dungeons(i do anyway) cos they so dull :( Ive spent about 40 lvl's in the place xping :p and i wish there were other places i could get nice xp, but there isn't :(

Hehe, 40-45 are hell levels for any infi - its time when you should clench your teeth and just get past those and forget about god damned lyonesse once and for all - you can now hunt in DF, go to dragon lair, gather a party for feeders or just run around snowdonia/pennines killing things and occasional sniper. And barrows hehe - camped advisors room with Greg and Burnout ;) Helps much when you get damage buffs and they have you in reach to finish off annoying resistant mobs ;)
And for the sample here's a shot - of place where i got 50 - seems familiar, or ? ;) (Actually a best place for infi/cleric duo past 46)http://pty0.newmail.ru/sshot150.jpg

Well, come back :) And never, ever go to the god damn tanglers - exp at 43 there is very slow in big group and infi has no place in small group as i`ve learned ;)

PS. And if you look _really_ close at wall in Lair, you'll see a large cavern left by all those shadowblades sitting there waiting for group. ;P
