Laptop problems: I found to my horror today i left my laptop for 15 mins while i went to get a drink, and when I got back it had had a nasty accident involving a fan getting stuck and burning out most of it's insides. (poor little thing).
Basically my budget is about £1,000 I am willing to try building it myself. However does anybody know of a good notebook/laptop in that sort of price range.
Must haves:
XP system of it's own
1 gig ram
1xx Gig hard drive of 7,200
CD(preferably DvD) burner
Pre thx, and before anybody asks the one i've got / had is out of it's warenty by a few months...
