About a month ago I had a nice group in emain started with a guildie, the we told the group that another guildie who happend to be a hunter is coming and instatly everyone starts to cry and whine and leave the group. No matter really, would have disbanded such whiners anyway.

<sigh> Sad people in a sad game :(

Well we probally can continue this debate forever and these discussions have to some extent also been a road on witch the game has evolved, yes some classes seem to be a bit overpowerd and the pbaoe spell sertanly has not made the game more fun. we have seen nerfs and love to diffrent classes over time, and maby we need to see if it is the way to do rvr that need to change ??. The problem in my eyes is that 85% of playes seem like open ground rvr is the most fun, ie - go emain/odins or maby HW. but as some already have suggested in the rvr discussions, why not try change rvr instead of always picking on the classes coz of the lack of variables in rvr. maby if players were able to build tempory barricades or small towers/forts by bringing the materials to any desired location in rvr areas, in a way you could secretly build up a huge bastion with several towers and barricades aswell as siege weapons. in this way rvr could call for more need of all the classes.
But it is also a requirement that we as players try not to tag along on the usual borring FOTpatroll kinda rvr, but instead try develop the game from within.
More rvr dungeons would be nice aswell, and dosent have to be all aggro mobs, coz they set the limit for where in dungeon you can go.

pf is only behind positional, its not hard to make them not get behind styles in and still run away. With the SoS case i agree, a good warrior is great (still dont need one, but in this case its without doubt better than any other tank), on the other hand a good alb group using sos happends like once every 90 min tops.

Talking as a shammie, i insist that guarding Warrior is very helpful to the group (hello Pand! :) ). And farting is not that great escape tool.

its recently become a case that thanes and warriors are considered no longer needed in rvr grps i find that a load of bollocks, as i now usually play a shammie i can tell u that peopel with guard are much needed to at least stop u from being killed in the first 5 seconds

please do not invite my shammie anymore into rvr grps that do not contain someone with guard

well 4 thanes this has been a case for a year fuck knows how u have coped

cant wait until the savage nerf

Mythic have said a couple of changes will be happening to Savages, they stated that they havent said if its bug fixes or nerfs, so dont be holding ur breath for a nerf.

So we blame savages isnt it ppl's attitude and wanting to be leet that we should blame ?

If ppl wasnt that horny on being leet and RP hungry every 1 would have a chance on getting a grp perhaps not thanes but still we are used to being last on the list.

Not being funny but if you are still Isen Vackten on your shammy how much rvr have you actually seen?

And yes farting as an amazing escape tool

as a shammie - not much, agree, i play him now and then, not always.

but as SB i have seen much of it - solo and grouping with guild.

and 15% snare from fart is not that good

besides, i dont have farting :) -- bbot spec 47/24/11

guarding is not very effective when your group has decent support and no casters. shamans in my groups dont die.

when the group got casters its either rather gimped or rather good.

when its rather good its unlikely a random noob at mtk gets a spot. ^^
