Sigh, I may as well don my semi-serious cap and reply.
Chilled: I've posted perhaps 3 (including the one you quoted, not however this one) posts which 'attack' (for lack of a better word) the current state of the ubb.

While there probably isn't much chance of the Fuzzy Haze of Nostalgia(sp?) winning one over and having this board become something worth reading, I can but try, as its utter boring wank to read at current, I'm even finding myself wanting exor and stu to start arguments (apologies for picking you two out) to have something to read.

And I do frequent other boards, or have done - many of which crumble into the same style as this one has become of recent.

Now, I do believe I have addressed the given points in a manner which will remain unreadable to almost everyone.

Unreadable? Not really, I can see what you meant. Even though I only joined BW a few months back, I have noticed the decline in interest during the last month, with certain Brentford residents just posting for the hell of post counts, trying to be the next tdc .

And the last time I recall Stu- starting an argument, speccy came over and closed the thread!

I'm not opposed to influx(s) of newbies (despite my penger comments) ... just how it almost all seems to revolve (indirectly) around your post count, mine is somewhere between 600 and 800, where, I don't know and I don't care, I've given up on the moo thread entirely now, thought I may have a look through the first few pages, which as I recall actually contained more text than most of the later ones.

infact, the moo thread is a prime example of how the level has degraded, looking at the beginning there were clear sentences with an intent, now we have .... "moo" countless times, and for as long as people can be bothered to hold down their 'o' (or '0') key.

incidently, I hadn't been to sleep either (no reason other than I'm somewhat a nocturnal person)

Guys I think everyone should relax, its just a temporary thing. We've all seen things like this before, but it will settle down. I think its no co-incidence that it was Chrimbo recently - peeps have a lot of time on their hands to spam, and geezers with new comps going around signing up to every BBS they can lay their mouse on. Half of them will fall away and the place will resume some semblance of normality [if there is such a thing].

BTW, I do not excuse myself from the spamming, but I think I could easily find spammy posts from everyone on this page (YES, that includes you Davehart ).
