This is unbelievable. And we're letting Bulgaria into the EU? With a judicial system like that? Fucking nuts. :/

Huh? Wtf you on about?

Woman kills son and is locked up. (likely to happen here tbh)

Woman diagnosed with terminal cancer in its last stages, seems remorseful, and is sent home to die in peace. (likely to happen here tbh)

Woman sadly kills husband.

How is that a fucked up judicial system? They made an honest and tragic mistake is all. It doesn't go into details but my guess is that the cancer has caused this change of behaviour anyway. After all this woman lived for 55 years without being a homicidal maniac.

Cancer as an excuse for murder? That's how I interpret it, anyhow. There should be no excuse for it, tbh.

Well they aren't going to let her out again, which is good for that second son I guess...

Clearly getting cancer does not give one the right to go around popping off family members.

However if this lady has a tumour or metastases in her brain then she could undergo a change of behaviour sufficient for this to happen. Is that an excuse for murder? No, but it does give one explanation for why a possibly loving and rational 55 year old mother has suddenly started killing her family.

As I said this whole thing could have happened under our judicial system, people do get let out of our prisons early if they are in the advanced stages of a terminal illness.

This is all idle speculation though, we have virtually no facts of the case, she may have been trying to kill her son for 29 years before finally finding the right weapon for all we know.

There's no background story either. The husband & sons may have cashed-in medical insurance which she needed for treatment (Jerry Springer stylee).

Maybe they just deserved it? Every now and again we all need a good hoeing.

Yeah, thats almost as bad as locking people up without charge and then denying them their basic human rights.

I know which laws are worse tbh.

Aye Tom. That's fucked up. And the release terms are f*cking shocking aswell.

We've either got enough evidence to convict, in which case we put them through the normal courts, or we don't, in which case we release them to do whatever the fuck they like.

Just one thing - wasn't this post a bit hippy liberalist for you? ;)
