Was browsing NP webby today ( which is actually nice and found some interesting stuff:

The number 1 guild on the English servers
The number 1 guild on the PVP server



HRmm...something is wrong here....u r not and never will be Nr.1 again on Camlann!


NP really showed what they can on pvp....

After the first 2 weeks...when most of the population is no longer max green con, they left server...they l33t skillz no longer enough to defeat at least blue cons it seems...

I'm relatively new to Camlann (Level 23) and have so far had very little bad experiences with Nolby Pride, All of them con purple and so far with the exception of slim (who i attacked for a laugh) have killed me, he then promptly arranged a rez which is more than i've seen from other guilds so far.

All the big guilds seem to be well mannered, well organized units, ok there is the odd few who are irritating (Ars Necandi - who gank me so often then claim they dont kill neutral targets) but Epic, Millenium, War Legendz (I try to run if i see these coming) will either leave me alone or stop for a chat.

The guilds which are causing me problems are the lower guilds who are around my level, who gank me in 4's or 5's then when i hunt them out 1 by 1 start crying to me about how my guild isn't a pk one. It's these guys who, for me, are ruining PvP. I don't mind being ganked, I find it funny somtimes when 4 red cons gang up on me cos i know that soon i'll be their level and i'll teach em a lesson or two. But if the gankers can't take being ganked then they shouldn't do it in the first place.

E.g. 4 grey chanters were sat in Prydwen keep, me and my lower guil friend walked in and my friend was attacked by all of them, so I ran up them steps and hacked them to death, my friend died too. Then 20 seconds lateri get 4 /send 's

"You Dick! Your Not The Police!! Dont F*%ckin kill lower cons (etc) "

So I politely informd them that they attacked my guild friend and I would defend my friends against any assailants, i recieved the usual "n00b" insults a few more times before they realised that they were getting nowhere and left me alone.

I don't like being pk'ed so as a rule I don't pk others, I understand that it's a PvP server and that people will want to pk, so when i get pk'ed I accept it as part of the game (If i get an exp death i go for revenge)

I think you realise that pk'ing is nothing personal as you get past level 20. Your just a MOB to somone who wants some exp.

Once you realise this Camlann gets so much better.

Nolby Pride have skill. Accept it guys, they get to 50 fast, ok people flame them for doing it in an unnatural timespan, however in the end everyone will have around the same /play time. Undoubtedly they were the top guild at the start however things are startin to change as other guilds catch them (or over-take them) we all knew this was inevitable.

Epic, Millenium, WL etc etc Have skill, they have got to 50, took relics, killed Legion whatever, we all know this, even NP have recognised this.

There is flames from NP saying that Mill, EPic etc are unorganized compared to NP, this was unavoidable since NP had their foundations upon another server and were transferred, most other guilds have started a new, and soon they will become organized, and maybe will divide into smaller guilds around NP size. Organization will improve within them.

Ok there are more things i can say but i'm tired, essentially, this is WAR Guilds will fight, guilds will KILL, guilds will spread propaganda and insult the others (Barrysword ) Guilds will break, Guilds will fall, Guilds will emerge victorious. It's gonna happen soon, If NP are leaving then good luck to them, if they stay good luck to them too, but if they leave who will step into the Power Vacuum? these allied guilds will soon find that NP was the only thing keeping them together, and then ...

Why go inactive now when other people are reaching 50. Understandable it was borinb being the only 50, but now you actually got people to fight.

we ve played too much daoc. entirely too much. many of us have 3-6 lv50 characters now. it s getting old.

and yes. mostly our lowbies log on now, we re too few to build decent parties. we s00k. for now.

but if we decide in irc channel we want something done, we ll get it. 15minutes later. consider it done.

The few Np who remains have some problems, all that pbaoe seems nice for pve, but dont works so good against pvp players.

Well anyway you were the faster people exping, but in pvp you didnt show nothing? You killed all of us when we were grey-green but now when we are yellow you leave........

NP got vastly higher lvl's than anyone else (like lvl 40's when the highest others on the server were 20), owned for a month then the second the enemies started conning blue and above a lot of their guild seemed to become strangely inactive.

Ahhh pooor Finster , yes that was real evil breaking in , stapling your arse to a chair and making you play all those hours. Bottom line is now you got some competition you cant take the heat. No doubting that majority of you are very skilled players, you cant not be after the experience you have had but i fail to see the logic in killing yourself physically for 2,3,4 days or however long it takes you to get 50 then leaving when other people dont go 'wow theres a lvl 50' because its old news.

True, but you're leaving out quite a bit of excal history after that. Let me enlighten you, they all took a break and came back when they felt like playing some more and completely annihilated all the other guilds out there.

People are bored, and other people don't enjoy PVP as much as they thought they would. When you're at the top the only way you can go is down and going down doesn't sit well with NP, especially when there's nothing you can do to stop zergs and raids at ridiculous hours. We've basically taken a step back untill all the zergs/alliances have broken up, and lo and behold most have.

When we're at the top we get flamed for being at the top, when we're at the bottom we get flamed for not being at the top

yey exactly as i said before pvp went live... np zerg/pl to 50 in v small amount of time . run aroung killing a ton of grays/greens .. od blue yellow . take a few relics.... CLAIM they own the server "they never did" then soon as many people catch upto them and they see they not as good as they thought they bugger off the server claiming they owned it .

if above not true only other explination i can think of is that all the ones who had 24/7 exp sessions to ding 50 1st are all in hostpital recovering from lack of sleep and bad nutrition due to there marathon exp grps.

TBH I dont think I ever see lower WL than bluecon (They really werent that much behind). Same for Millenium, mostly people were bluecon-yellowcon.

And about competition... How can you compete with 2/1 to 5/1 of the amount of your members? No matter how skilled or unskilled players there are out there, you just cant beat zergs.

PvP sucks. No decent PvP except ganking those who camp portals. Boring2k^3

The thing is easy.
We owned the levelling and got to lvl 50 really fast. (WL was 1 day behind or so, we won the battles of Lair, so we won the exping).
Then there was a week of doing epics, exping ppl that where not 50 yet and pk:ing. We also took relics etc.

Then ppl realised it was not as fun as they expected.
Constant whining from everyone that where not yellowcon that you killed. (not many yellow around so lots of whine).
HUGE zergs camping portals etc. No good fighting, pvp in daoc is not really such a good ideah. The game is not really suited for fighting in the entire world. The zoning destroys alot.

We had lots of ppl getting tired of daoc after playing so hard the first week and realising its not so fun anymore.
We got to our goal, beating the former world record in levling by 2 ingame days.

The crap about ppl leaving the server because we are getting owned or not being nr1 anymore etc is just BS.
We are not nr1 anymore because ppl leave, not the other way around.
Having the most rp:s on server is impossible with only 1 (on rare occations 2) groups pk:ing for a few hours each day. Thats no whine, thats stating a fact.

I know many ppl here really hate us and i also know why.
2 things, our attitude. We dont mind showing off and owning ppl etc. And your own jelousy. Ppl get jelous when owned and must talk shit. But its ok, if you want to whine, please do. But stop talking shit.

The crap about NP getting owned on exc seems a bit strange.
I haventh checked in a few days, but last week the rp:s where somewhere around 52 million. So, no problems there.

And Yoda. If you are wrong with your statement. (wich you are). Then i doubt we will prove you wrong, because if ppl dont wanna play daoc anymore. They will not come back, will they?

I mean, the server does suck

But we will see.
The only thing im 100% sure of is 2 things.

ppl quit the server and of course THEN we got owned.
