Noob SB question

first of all u need to remake ur sb so u can autotrain so u get a better specc at 50 and purge is the first RA i got

As for levleling, go with dodger firstly =) (and pre req, aug qui2)
I did that, went with dodger 2 first thing, was a great change actually and evading is quite vital for a shadowblade.
As for RvR, purge is a must Other RAs, which are mentioned also mentioned before, would be Mastery of Pain (and pre req, aug dex2), Dualists Reflexes (if you are somewhat LA specced). To tweak your hps you can go with aug con, toughness.
My sb which is RR5 have the folloing RAs:
purge, dw2, dodger2, mop2, aug con 2, toughness 2, long wind 1, avoidance of magic 1, aug dex 2 & aug qui 2.

imho buy what u want .. i used to say purge first and be for that seehidden first.. tbh its up to u.. purge wont always be up and its nice when fighting against infils although its on a 30 min timer... depends if it fits in ure style of play

Depends how you are going to spec and what your playstyle is like.

I would say get Purge, MoP2, Dodger 2 (maybe only 1 if you got high qui and a 47 Aug MotA 2 Shammy bot), Toughness 2, Aug con 2, DR2

Probably in that order for starters. SH is pretty much a waste of time as 1. the range has been severly nerfed and 2. you will see archers / mincers well before they see even without it.

Its hard to say, it depends on playstyle, as Ironfoot says.

If you are going to solo; go for a balanced ra-spec;

Purge, MoP 2, Toughness 2, DR 1-2, perhaps even consider dodger(but I have tried it all since the evade-cap; no dodger, dodger 1 and dodger 2 and I cant say I felt any difference, but that goes for many ras I guess).

But defensive ras have a big flaw;

1. Defensive ras are only working as long as you have aggro.

2. Offensive ras are ALWAYS working.

So if you are going to team, aggressive ras would be your call. Another thing could be, if you know who you are going to team with, to sort out aggro from the beginning.

Guy 1(always attacks first); A sz(with the 47-debuff ofc) with See Hidden, Con 3, Toughness 3, AoM 2, Dodger 2 and AF-charges.

Guy 2; A 5-spec/Soulblade or Critblade with MoP 3, DR 3 and dmg-add-charges.

The important thing with this setup is that the target is debuffed before guy 2 lands his pa.

PS: I am trying out MoP 4 and DR 4 at the moment but I cant say I am impressed, guess it have to do with the fact that our damage-output suck at the moment.

And DR not being as good for LA-users as it is for DW/CD ones :/

got a 50 ns myself, rr3l8. 172k rps' ish for that lvl, went for Dex2 Qui2 Tounghness1 MoP2 Dodger2 Dualistist Reflex 1 (Good if your a LA SB Adds+6 to LA/CD/DW) And Purge. going for AP2 Now, i think this is a good start,

Last test's I've seen about Left Axe and Dualists Reflexes indicated it did pretty much nothing for styled damage. Jox might want to test if he's got RA stones available, drop from DR4 to no DR should be noticeable if it does anything much.

dont know with dr i havent seen any change with it tbh and i got dr3 atm and mop3 mop3 i can see course i crit allmost each hit etc.. but my ra's are aug con 2 thoughness 2 aom 2 dr3 mop3 purge aug dex 2 and its working fine tho im thinking on to respec out of dr3 and get some other ra's instead

Yes, some idiot from US said that he had DR 4 and it was great.

And another idiot(me) belived him.

Just had to try it, and yes, its even more worthless for laxe-users.

Will spec out of it.

In other words what would you spend your first 3 points on. Both os us are only rolling for Bg1, then rerolling as its the best rvr in the game

Thought so... IIRC it only raises your base damage by a measly amount but does practically nothing for styled damage? Can't verify myself tho.

Respec'd too Purge,con 3, dex 2, MoP 2, DR 1, Tougness 1, Second wind, see hidden.

Second wind is really nice imo. Nowadays im able to take 2 at a time sometimes because of it, or kill ip using scouts alot quicker. Ofc ther is end pots, but its not the same. With end pots u loose a couple of strokes (atleast 1). Anyways, works wonders for me.

Next i will probably test 1 of thoose rain of *** Just to see if there any good, anything that makes me do more dmg is welcome. If they work like a dmg add and add 10dmg it is worth it imo. MoP3 and tougness2 is also a must have.

Had dodger2 before and i honestly can say that i dont miss it. Cant see any diffence.
