Yeah, this was one of the most fun nights I`ve had in DAoC for ages.
Btw, sorry about the screenshot. I took a lot of screenies of mass-dings and a group pic where everybody is on the screen, but for some strange reason, the sceenies were just pictures of my desktop. :/

for the past few months The Stronghold have been running an 8-person* alliance-centric noob group^ - we're currently at an average level of 35 now.

* when 8 alliance members are available anyway, if spare spaces we pick up random xpers :)

^ though it's mostly The Dragon Legion and Covenant Of Zak as Thorwyn says :D

Our guild had a level 4 keeptake session last night.

We first tried on Alb, but found it back in Alb hands.

So we rolled some Hibs on Glastonbury, got them to level 4 with armour from the Charles dare quest, and weapons from the newbie quest. We took Fort Brolorn for Hibernia!

Well, people enjoyed that, so we tried to roll some Mids on Excal, but only 3 of us could do so, so we got to level 4, found we couldn't take the Fort, but managed to rope in a level 4 rogue who helped us take it !

Then it was back to Alb/Pryd to take it as originally planned!

Noob groups are fun!

Indeed. The week prior to this group starting up, our guild formed a group (because we got the date wrong!) and levelled to 4 in proving grounds before taking the keep.

It was brought to our attention, that the tomb of Mithra is no longer a place of peace and rest. Instead, hideous undead creatures are wandering around the tunnels. Botched sacrifices, forgotten promises, even malevolent disciples! We had to take care of it and make the tombs a place of tranquility again.

But also, while being down there in the darkness, fighting the hallow abominations, floating sticks and hissing bleeders, we managed to solve one of the oldest riddles of our fair lands! You know what I`m talking about.. it´s the "Where does this crack in the wall lead to?" riddle. So be happy, all you cartographers! For now we know the answer (special props goes to Bigrose for the brave move to step through the crack): it´s leading to the broken tower, right besides the Darkness Falls portal!

Oops still haven't added last week's pics.

Also need to add this week's pics too from our fun trip to Hills Of Claret (pity no mids or hibs showed up though) :)

Guys,

I will probably join you (if that's ok ofc) starting next week, either with my heretic ou my brother's cabby.
Since the last post in "Born Again N00bs of Albion" is from 14th November, any chance you can update it, or post here wich level are you now please ?

Thanks,

we were around the 19/20 mark last week so assuming a free ding and another level gained by those attending it may be around the 21/22 mark.

you're definitely welcome to join us

actually the choice is up to you - along with buffbots, balanced groups are against the spirit of it - so it's whatever you find most fun ;)

as to where we meet not sure - recently most of our time has been around salisbury plains but i suspect we'll be looking elsewhere.
