**Noob group** Tuesdays 8uk time

I propose a new type of event for albion... noob group a brief return to the old days we all so fondly remember

Running once a week starting next week on a tuesday 8uk- 10pm uk time
Meeting at the cotswalds bind stone.

What is noob group?

Noob group is your last chance to get a regular pve group- from level 1- just like the old days!

Visiting all the all the old places, noob group doesn't advocate the use of botts of twinkling with high level equip... we do, hoever, encourage the use of fun, roleplay, monty python quotes, and dying in silly (but funny) ways. Maybe your an old hand bored of the game a bit with a few hours to spare a week, or maybe you are new to the game and have yet to experience an old school daoc XP group... whatever reason noob group is the cure for you!

Why not join noob group?

Maybe you just want to rvr all your time or you can't understand why anybody would want to group when a few days PLing will get you to level 50... and zomg! downtime?? If so walk on, this is not for you, you just wont get it.

Why join noob group?

You miss the old days, you sometimes wish there was something else you could be doing other than the same old same old. You want to relive fond memories one last time. You really fancied rolling a certain class but you cba with the boring grind. You want to make some new mates, your new to the game and your wondering where all the other players are... pop along to the cotswalds bind and see if we are the answer for you!

This is a once a week grouping so we will claim free levels for the sake of having something to look farward to each week.

Well if you get up lvl 20 all you need is to take 1 Mactavish + Keltoi + ant room + body pulls and you certainly get plenty of ammusing deaths (thats going back a while)

This sounds like it could be a fun break from the norm may come along with a mage, but can't say for definate just yet. btw excal or pryd?

my subs are about to run out but hell for this ill renew for another month just to see what its like because i miss the old leveling from 1-5 tbh though everyone should be level 5 before we start for the simple fact is level 1-5 is always faster solo and the fun starts from 5+

An allaince I was in on US servers used to have lowbie nights which were the most fun ever. Basically you could bring anything you liked as long as it was lower than level 30, you'd all join a BG, make groups etc and then go and zerg the crap out of a reasonably high level zone like Dartmoor. Everyone died hundreds of times each, but everyone got uber XP and more importantly a lot of fun.

If the event is a success (ie we can pull a reasonable size group) I'll keep you up to date via the boards so that people with higher levels can join in as we progress. This is perfectly fine as I know quite a few people wont have a spare slot for this

What a nice idea for all realms which would really help out the few new people we have, but I think it would be like you say, a relic raid every "pve day" so I guess it's nice being short and sweet.

Also would like to reiterate from the first post this starts next week, now all I have to decide between is a cabby or another cleric!

You'll probably find less people would join in with an exp day than you get on your average well known leader ML rush days, so the relics would probably survive the event. The people who only RvR would still be out there defending for arfhur!
