zergs and such gathering of people

Well NP tends to run around 2FG now instead of 1 which is a pain in the arse when you have to turn over every stoen in hibernia before u can get even ONE decent group (I'm speaking pre evening hours, where suddenly elves, firby and luri schools finish and all the little hippies flock to emain).

Still hard to call that a zerg.

However when they stay too long at amg with the other mid groups it is <hint> <hint>

and look at the Top 25 Individual RP 'earners' over the last 7 days......

NP have 16 = 2 Full groups.

Good going on them. If they can run around with both their groups and 'earn' so many RPs then so can others.

First there was Class Envy
Now there is Guild Envy

Wonder what's next?

Yeah they do head up zergs, but that's only because they charge though amg and try to break the deadlocks there, which is a good thing as that must be some tedious old bollocks for both sides. As soon as it's over they usually bugger off again, as quickly as they arrived.

well, the general problem is us sitting bored at the fireplace in DC.

when we get that long awaited kill spam Xana bonks our skalds, the kobbies stick tezas back and off we go. so you might say we re a common add on any pull in the general emain area^^.

Tonight on CBH alliance chat is was not the sounds of 'albs at amg' or 'mids in bowl' it was Nolby Pride at Crim, here, there, every bloody where'.

I thought that there was a new realm on Excal for a bit (only joking)

Having seen one of their 'small groups' tonight in emain I can see why they have so many RP.

However, this is not a whine; they seem very well organized and a fearsome force (despite mostly being ugly trolls I cannot see the kobolds they are all stealthed).

well, /gc who pretty much shows what zerg numbers we got to play with.. often we have some extras in groups, since it kinda suck to be 2nd or sometimes even 3rd group with only 3-5 ppl compared to a main group.. doesnt exactly pay rps :p

its often not any advantage going more than 1 fg, takes longer to get moving after a fight, and you kinda feel lame when stomping down 1 FG trying to get some battles.. I always prefer FG vs FG, or atleast just even numbers. Zerg fights are also fun, but the 30 mins waiting between them suck.

erm there is almost always 1fg in emain, on occasion they may have 2fg, still hardly a zerg, though you tend to find many mids following them around like sheep looking to pick up the scraps they leave behind...

and albs choose to zerg most of the time even when noone is camping amg :p

when hibs or (often, unfortunately) mids camp amg, I dont blaim you for zerging.

But, at times like tonight, where there had been some double-fg runnings from hib and alb (mids had been in it for a while but albs and hibs was running the show for about an hour and some small mids group trying to dodge the big forces), then everyone pretty muched stopped 'zerging'.. we had a fg of middies with 3 sbs around scouting and no healers, roaming the emain territorie.. then all of a sudden out of nowhere, 25-30 albs simply decide to zerg emain for around an hour and eventually take DC... whats up with that?

anyways, to stick to the point instead of making this a zerg whine thread, I wasnt saying that zerging is a must. Ofcourse its an option, but there is always somebody who insist on zerging.. like as if it is the only way possible.

zergs are teh :puke: :/

I'm waiting for 1.52 before I think about RvRing on a daily basis.

I get tired of being a Prince in PvE, and a Pauper in RvR. :)

Nolby Pride was uber annoying last night : / But not as annoying as the Hibs themselves. Seemed like the more groups joined our force, the easier they got wacked by NP. Outstanding example of why fighting in 1-2 fg is more effective than zerging. Especially considering the following:

First there was 2 fg hibs, encountered NP 2 fg near Bolg tower and beat em. We were still pretty well organised at that time, which you need to be when you take them on. After a while more peeps joined in, the cg grew, we took back some keeps.

Then we got to Crim, where 3 FG mids, mostly NP, were standing on the towers side by side, challenging us to come and charge. Around that time we were 4 FG hibs, and it was about time for people to turn into sheep. We managed to lure the mids out, but I think that's the last thing the Hib army achieved together. Without the cover of the keep, the Mids/NP still managed to wipe us as the Hib sheep stopped thinking. Later NP left Crim so Hibs took it. After that I tried to get the lot to Crauchon, repeatedly yelling not to go to AMG, but the Hib sheep flocked to amg all the same, at which point I just left the cg. Can't stand how some people stop thinking when they get into big groups. Hib army died 30 seconds later btw. And Nolby Pride, they must have been having a blast. Every time they got wiped (which wasn't that often, I think), they just came back 10 minutes later to take revenge. I'm sure they had the last laugh that night ( ;

Lately cbh has been making cbh RvR squads; well balanced groups of people that know how to pay attention and stick to plans, and I must admit Nolby Pride is setting an excellent example of how something like that should be done. Not even for the rps, but for the way they work together and manage to stay alive in battles where the odds seem against them at first.

[edit]I must admit some Hibs, especially volunteers for watching our backs and flanks - Envenom, Talivar, Gestalt, Nimca, Nolerdraic- worked together nicely taking Crim later... even though it was a simple undefended keep, there was the threat of mids returning[/edit]

Not saying it was nolby, only saw one fg from their guild.
