no solo ppl?

hmm i spent almost 3 hours i bg1 today i only found 1 solo alb.
Or atleast i tougt so but i think most of them run solo but if some1 se a mid all go and try killing it. : /(

i think its the same about mids and hibbies.

well i saw 1 solo ns i killed him and run like hell for alb zerg was close. I just made it to stealth mode before the had hitted me.

almost no one goes solo in BG :p Aoe dottet a infil i saw in stealth 5 infils got hit by that dot, was kind of funny :)

Common mid tactic is to use a few crap characters (20 shammys, thanes etc) as bait for a stealth trap.

Was one operating outside Hpk yesterday, our group rushed them only to find 4-5 sb's jumped us, we got their rezzers and one sb on the first rush so they were screwed, but if we hadnt found the rezzer the trap could have lasted quite a while.

From what an alb-infili friend of mine tells me, infili's in thid tend to follow each other around even when they try to solo other infili's tag along to leach the kills. Stealth groups are often nothing more than 2 solo stealthers with 2-3 leachers tagging along for the ride ;)

was a lot of alb / mid stealthers going round together yesterday but was also a lot of mids soloing it

Mmm... guyz? One question: WHY do you wanna solo during BG prime-time, when everyone zergs...? Its kinda silly... and hopeless.

Better wait off for the rush hours to go by, then drop in.

If you get lucky you can even have tournaments there.

And if you REALLY get lucky, you can put up with a crazy green-clad emblem cloaked enchantress who loves to spend time porting :D

Anyway, Hibs are never solo aswell. They only come out when they own the ck in whatever bg.. Then they go hide in the CK, (with 1fg-2fg) plant turrets in front of em, and they just sit back and relax.

IF you do see a solo person (hib/mid/alb) you'd better run cause he's either SC'd, or SC'd + Buffed.

It's just the way it is, and nothing will change that.

well there are 1or2 solo ns but yes they are buffed but i have killed 1 ns who was near alb zerg kileld him and ran like hell.

and yeah only SC'd, or SC'd + Buffed soloers in bg atleast mids and albs. Well i dont know so much about mid coz i dont look for sbs but i say many times when there are 3-5 infis very close too each other. To close too just be resiting togeter or following eachother.

Nasty tends to solo

I tend to solo rather and never group, BG is over too quick to group.

Sometimes though I will spend 5 mins with another Infi but it gets too frustrating if you all have 19+5 stealth when you keep losing each other. Then i go back to soloing. Sometiems long before kills but fun trying to pick the stragglesr at the back of a group! or being behind mb when the mids are attacking ck.

Somehow Infi's never coordinate in the same efficient way that the mid sbs seem to achieve.

Nastymann Part Deux is at 23.5, soon to be in BG1.

Imho neither of the realms solo, sometimes it looks like hibs are soloing, but that only because they are so samm few in the Bg's ^^

I 'solo' 100% of the time, in that I am not grouped. Yet I am still buffed to the teeth and sometimes I attack the same target as someone else.

Its for this reason that I just put up with being trampled every now and again, otherwise I'd be a hypocrite.

I almost always solo with my ns (only teamed up on about 3 occasions after getting ganked by stealther grps to get revenge) as i thought this was the whole point of the assasin class. Plus i find it more fun that way, success or failure it's all down to me (and a few random roles in the background :p )


Almost capped tho and cba lvlin another shade atm. :p

Try a different game, maybe Quake deathmatch or some such nonsense.

I hate to break the bad news to you but Daoc is a group oriented game and most people play it as such, no point complaining you cant find solo's to pwn.

I dont get why more ppl dont solo in BGs, after all in BGs rps are normally something ur not too bothered about, infact u wanna avoid the cap as long as possible, so why not solo to make it last longer..... /shrug, i soloed 2 infs 1 recently and 1 ages ago to cap without too many problems

Depends how good you are, I group with my bot. It is usually out of range and gets no rps yet as I'm groups I dont get full rps. So when I kill someone who is rr1L3 solo I usually get 4rps, I only get 2 due to the group im in.

So technically if you're grouped with people whose net rps are less than your usual rps solo, then it would be of benefit as you would take longer to cap.

i wont even begin to mention the mid stun......

but tbh theres loads of mincers, insta stun
several healers, long stun
loads of hibby mages, 5 sec stun


its just hard to solo now adays with 30+ people, get one kill and everyone chases you for the .0001 rp they get :/

there are plenty of solo areas in BG2 .. atk>ab >hb >htk are ussually very quiet i urge all SOLOERS to goto the alb bridge>hib bridge areas so soloers can have some fun ,

i soloed' all the time with my scout in bg1 and when friar was in bg i used to solo also . was lotsa fun , yes u get rolled by fg's reguler but the fun of a 1v1 is far more fun :)
