It would be nice to get some relics over to mid, but we are doing ok without them.

It's been great fun these last few days taking part in very successful keep raids. Many mids have died at the hands of albs/ hibs, but on the flipside we're still doing a very very good job of keeping the albs and hibs at bay too.

I also have no doubt that onece the MGC alliance lands fully on it's feet, that successful mid relic raids will happen. Even in it's infancy, the work and coordination of the allaince is shining through. It's an amazing achievement for such a new alliance.

At the moment there's barely been an attempt on the relics as people are having too much fun out at the various keeps.

20,000+ rps as a lev 40 cave shamy in last 3 days, not bad for a class known for its crap rps in US 33/33 in rankings So explain to me again do we need Relics HELL NO!!!

Why own relics when its more fun to take all albs keeps and upset the zerg every night, must suck suicideing wondering if were after relic or not...

Ps to MGC thanks for a great night in alb, as always was great night when aliance guilds all got together

Take the relic, i wouldnt mind

perhaps the albs would try take the power relic, still interest is very low coz 70% are meleers, and they give jack shit about casters doing 20% more dmg

First of all it's a fact midgard tried for a 2pm relic raid on excal just a few weeks back...

Secondly, with these primetime raids, us albs are trying to win some respect back which we lost in the middle-of-the-night raids.

But since all the relics are now stored in just 2 relic castles it's *damn* hard to take them, because resistance is high.

My point is, instead of flaming here and throwing oil on the fire, read this post:

1. Actually, my post was in the same vein as the original alb's post, a bit of idle banter.

2. Your trying to earn respect back? That's...nice. But the impression I have from quite a few mids i've spoken too "why bother? we'll only wake up tomorrow and find em gone again" You guys kinda shit on your own doorstep that night....er morning.

3. Taking a relic in primetime now is prolly nigh-on impossible, uber guard spawn rate is a bit high, plus small armys of lvl50's logged in Relic keeps doesnt help.

4. Mentioning a thread that says well done on a "primetime" effort from albion? That says 2 things to me..
a. well done for actually trying at a reasonable hour.
b. The fact that some peoples view of albion and their "tactics" gain you a thread for a failed primetime raid. Thats quite sad really.
And yes, I'm well aware that some mids have done stupid'o'clock raids, never me, and never the guys I play with.


All said and done, it's only a game. People pay for it and can play how they want too.

And about the relics? Could care less anymore, im so tired of all the BS that swirls around that i've adopted my playstyle to doing 20% less dmg. And since then ive had more fun than before. My hats of to CE for raising hell in Alb, and maybe with the new alliance the cooperation with the other alliances will fluorish. If not ill just stick to my adopted playstyle.

I dont have the skills to organise a relic raid nor the desire, but then again i do not demand that someone else should shoulder that burden, it should come from a will to lead and conquer. But atm theres to many wills pulling in separate directions, which leave us dead in the water. But i DO hope that one day the train will start rolling and then mid will be one fierce red machine steamrolling all over the place.

But til that day happens my new home is prydwen, you might find me a coward that runs from the problem, but the problem is not from without its within, and no amount of pwr relics can ever help there.

And please no more references to time of raids (tho the 2am mid raid, was not appreciated by the rest of the mids if you care to find that old thread (i dont )) it will get us nowhere and i thought we all knew that already .

since they changed the guard system, its a must to either take all keeps or bring 200 ppl to pull off a relicraid now. or 100 ppl at no defenders at relic..

i am glad you all calmed down.

i have played both mid, hib, alb on this server and from what i jusr read then Mid and Alb both sound like Realms of spoiled children. And when you all get it through your heads that this IS and always will be a game then you will have far more fun.

And i would have expected all pointless bitching From a newbie not people who have lvl 50 chars. I hope your not like that in game if so then i will move over to hib as it will be pointless for me to stay in any of the realms.

Nah we are gonna wait 4 years and take one during the final of the worldcup football. Since thats REAL primetime.
