But if everyone gets a custom title just by asking for one, then they'll become as common and devalued as the forum deitys seem to believe their couch has become.

I think I preferred the days where the odd custom title would just pop up almost out of nowhere, and it would be a real shock to people and often much funnier for it.

This is what happened to me. I noticed I was approaching Forum Deity after years and then one day I log on and see Mr Trebz has changed my forum title in a fit of boredom.

Damn you Danny Boy! :p
