CLASS NOTES

- We have removed the ability for Celts to become Nightshades, at least for the time being, while we assess the consequences of this change. We may re-implement Celt Nightshades in a future patch, but it won't go live in 1.62. This was removed based on testing feedback that showed the Celt Nightshades may have a distinct advantage in RvR over Lurikeen and Elven Nightshades due to their inherently greater strength. It was not our intent to redefine the class based on a new race/class combo.

it definitely means that NS are up for a tweak in a coming patch :)

think the reason was hilarios. like celts are stronger then norses or britons. ;)

When you think about it... you should only allow avalonian/saracen infils... and kobold sb´s... this is teh crap...

speed shout like rangers got? or a atk spd haste (like we can get from a nurt dr00d :rolleyes: )?

or why not both, givf self haste buff that stacks with nurt haste buff and goes under atk spd cap \o/
(on a 5 min timer :p)

i know that ..

the reason mythic removed celts from beeing NS was that they gained an advantage over elphs and luris bcuz of thier str. now, read my other post again.

i'm happy it wasn't implemented, because too many uber players will only make an ns if they have an easy option,

"i was going to make an ns, but not now they can't be celts" is commonly heard on all forums, which is why i am happy celts weren't implemented. use what u have, or don't make one at all

That still doesnt explain why britons/norses can be infiltrators/shadowblades... Hibernia is gimped and they want it to stay gimped... already heavily underpopulated, maybe its better that people that want a decent assassin make it in other realm?

The minimal difference in end game str stats would make no noticable difference. If you knew no other ns's could get buffs, but you could get a lowbie str buff from a druid all the time, would it then be worth making a bladeshade? No not at all. Celt shades would suck compared to luris imo, so im not bothered whether they implement them or not tbh.

i would like to see tweaks on the existing race/class combos than addind a new one :(

DD = lifetap for example

lots of ppl who have considered rolling a celt NS but can't now just think the human race is better then the rest cuz the others look silly. and why should hib then be the only realm where the human race can't be an assasin?

on another note britons and norses can be any mageclass in thier realm while the celt can only be 2 of the 4. and those two also happens to be the least played mageclasses in hib afaik.

On the whole, hibraces should gain acces to more classes since the other realms does.
