If i see that bastard message once more today I fear I will do something drastic, possibly dramatic too ^^

I've been working on an essay on a word document and saving periodically as I go (yes, I have indeed learned from previous mistakes) but i can't save every sodding 30 seconds (well I could but read on...)

So I'm merrily typing and saving, typing and saving and then i hit save (usually after I've made several alterations and it's been about 20 mins since my last save) and the timer comes up and the save button is depressed (and after several times of this happening I'm getting depressed too) and nothing happens, then the dreadded message appears "programme not responding, end now?" Noooo I don't want to end now! can't we just carry on like this never happened??? no is the simple answer, no we can't.

The I get the send error message option which always pisses me off, ok so the programme cba to respond but the flipping error report can! Waaaah!!

Is there any way that I can either stop the sodding programme from freezing every sodding time I want to save or maybe some way to make it automatically save after a period of say..oh I don't know, lets be realistic about this shall we? 30 seconds?

Help me Obi Wan Kanobi, your my only hopez0r!!!!

Be mindful that this feature does not save over the original. Rather, it saves a recovery file. In the event you do not exit Word, due to a power failure or a computer freeze, when you ruin Word again, it will present you with an auto-saved version of the document.
