There is too little evidence to suggest why he did, wait and see otherwise, we may as well know nothing :)

Right... people are saying that he crashed into the building because he could not control the plane yeah?

However I what I was saying was that it surely takes more control to take off than to avoid a 42 story building?

my theory is that he was trying to emulate the WTC disaster, on his own small scale... and yes, it will be blamed on games :/

Who cares, it looks kind of amusing to see such a tiny plane against such a big building, more so after Sept 11.

Teehee.

Is it me or were the windows on that building enormouse, or was the plane just tiddley

Windows Huge, Light aircraft small... What damage he thought he would do is beyond me, with such a light plane, it probably started to fall to bits before he hit the building!

put it this way, in a Loony Choons cartoon, it would have crumpled up and slid down the side.

Personally I have no idea why you would let a 15 year old kid take flying lessons anyway. I mean come on...is it really a very sensible thing to do?

...but this will probably be blamed on computer games, not bad laws.

My friend passed in pilots licence before he passed his driving test - very worrying

What is more of a concern, imo, is the fact that he wasn't shot down. After Sep 11th we heard all this shit about how flight security was going to be maximised, how they'd have Sky Marshalls on every flight within the US, how unauthorised deviations and flights would be met with a "zero-tolerance" (ie blown out of the sky) policy. And in the past 2 weeks we've had the bloke with the C4 on his shoe (where exactly were the Sky Marshalls on that flight?), and now this. He even flies straight over Central Command, and they do nothing about it. Never let it be said that the Yanks are slow to learn, eh?
