Can you recommend me some games please, as atm i dont see the appeal so i figured maybe its just the games i have been playing
I bought one for my brothers birthday and he only seems to get sports games so i wanted to give it a go to see what all the fuss is about

Zelda is still the only Wii-game worth buying, imo. Lots of good games for GameCube but that's not what you are looking for ;p

Depends what you are after.

If its a solo play then get zelda - it rox !

if its party/drunk/fun then go for wario smooth moves

I'm currently really enjoying Mario strikers, although you might think "oo football game bah" as I did when i first looked at it, its actually really awesome. I'm not a big football game fan, and truly suck at fifa etc on computers but its awesome. If you compare a normal racing game to mario cart, then thats like comparing a football game to mario strikers. Add in net play and multiplayer on 1 Wii and its truly amazing fun.

Mario Strikers has little to do with football but personally I really can't recommend it :S In short: it offers little and that little sucks

WarioWare is failed attempt to make a fun and easy to play game - its actually more fun in singleplayer mode than in multiplayer :S

Coming to think about I really enjoyed playing Godfather - the controls when punching people for example made me feel unconfortamble (you know, you have to actually punch and stuff ) and overall its a decent GTA clone

Wii Play - boring but its free i guess
Wii Sport - dito
Medal of Honor: Vanfard - O dear is the only way to describe this game
SSX Blur - was ok nothing special
Tiger Woods PGA Tour - is ok if you like golf
Bust A Move - funny to start with but it gets dull
Red Steel - Great for the weapons but weak story, weaker dialogue and the AI is just permanently stuck in retard mode similar to that of Doom 1
Madden NFL 2007 - not really into the whole Ice Hockey thing

As recommended by Tilda, I recommend Mario Strikers charged too ! I think it has lots to offer, especially if you know people with the game too.

Also Zelda as Saggy said.

Excite truck is a great game. Also Sonic and the secret rings is good. Might just be worth renting that though.

Well, from what i've heard, "Test Break Point Of Wii" is fun.

Especially "Roof Drop" is quite the thrill.

i missed out a carrige return there is a game on the wii called "Ice Hockey", a port from some console/gameboy (gfx look like its from the gamboy anyway )

I totally disagree with saggy and honestly think it has the potential to have a huge regular player base. Sure the basics are simple to pick up, but past that, theres a lot of depth and extra bits you can get which are harder to manage.

i think there was a game called simply "Ice Hockey" in old old nintendo 8bit.
